    As someone who learned VB in university, and spent years building VBA scripts - learn the Get and Transform functionality (i.e. Power Query). If you're constantly doing something to data, import it, create some set transformations and then hand it off to the IT guys to give you SQL queries that fit what you need.

    From there it's a short step to Power BI and providing data insights unlike anything Excel can do.

  even if you don't need these courses now, i recommend creating an account and enrolling in whatever you think might come in handy. It costs you nothing and once you enrol into a course you get lifetime access to it. I have uni exams in the next month but also would love to be increase my excel proficiency, so in 4-6 weeks when i'm free i'll still be able to access these courses.
