November's Gold games have been announced -

XB1 -
Battlefield 1 ($39.99 ERP): Available November 1 to 30
Race the Sun ($9.99 ERP): Available November 16 to December 15

XB1/360 -
Assassin’s Creed ($19.99 ERP): Available November 1 to 15
Dante’s Inferno ($14.99 ERP): Available November 16 to 30

Note - Battlefield 1 premium pack is available for free though today is the last day. Grab it while you can!

      I picked it up on PC when it was $6, but grabbed the Xbox One DLC just in case, despite not having the console.

      Then I got the RDR2 bundle from JB Hifi, and I kept checking to see if B1 was on offer.

      So this is great for me.

      At least you actually own it and can play the game even if your Xbox Live Gold account expires.

      With this Live Gold game giveaway you have to keep an active Live Gold account open in order to play the game. So there's a big difference.

        True, but without Live Gold you're pretty much limited to the single-player campaign.

        Xbox one games you can keep forever but you can't use them if you don't have gold (or internet access) but they will be there waiting for you when you next subscribe or are on an Xbox console that is a gold subscriber's "home" Xbox, this way only one person needs to subscribe to gold and everyone can use all their (and others) gold games on the one console. google gold sharing or game sharing for a walk-through.

    You can get the Premium Pass for Battlefield 1 on the Xbox store for free right now, but today is the LAST day to do so. So make sure you go do it now.

    Click on the link for Battlefield 1 and scroll down to the bottom to Add Ons to see it.

    Finally. Solid offerings for november, with AC1, it completes the Assassins Creed Trilogy that has been offered with games with gold in the past.

      I'm really hoping Ubisoft can offer some other games more as a result.

      Though I don't think they're done with Assassin's games just yet. Everybody's favourite cheap Xbox One game from CDKeys might be next? 😁

      I bought and played it earlier this year when it was on sale for like $4. Played it on the X and it looks amazing. First AC game I played and I actually enjoyed it. A lot of that had to do with the enhanced graphics.

      It has a great single player campaign. Multiplayer numbers will probably drop off once BFV comes out.

    Battlefield 1 and Assassin's creed are up to "get" via the store. BTW if you are starting a new subscription that is not going to renew forever then what I do is wait until late on the 31st or 15th Los Angeles time (midday-early arvo on the 1st or 16th Melbourne time) that way you can "get" more games (9 plus internationals for 1 month) because of the over 24hr change over period, see my Kalimba games with gold post for a bit more detail.
