Philips Pasta and Noodle Maker - HR235706 - $251 (Bonus $50 Cashback via Redemption) @ Harvey Norman.

60

I've seen this deal at a couple of places now so they are probably getting rid of stock (old model). This is the version without the autoweigh and has less "dies" but still a great machine, especially at this price.

Price comes down to $201 once the redemption is applied.

  • Would be nicer if the 250-50 HN offer had not expired , sign ~~~

    • Thanks OP. Got it with the HN cashback deal a week ago, which worked out to be $151. The directions for adding water are so simple that paying premium for the autoweight function seem totally pointless, at least for my use.

      • I agree, I have this one; I was a bit spooked by people complaining the auto weigh function was throwing errors on the one further up. If you go to Myers the disc costs aren't too bad and you get two of them.

  • It's the same price on amazon and you can get cashback from cashback sites as well as Prime delivery.

    Just noticed this:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/412792

It is $299 at the site, so 20% would drop it to $239.2 then $50 off will be $189.20 - provided it is part of the sale tomorrow.

  • Keep in mind that the discs cost a lot (~$40 if I recall correctly), and this model does not come with the disc for thin noodles. So if you want to make Chinese noodles, you need to spend more. So usually you are better off buying the higher model (which has autoweigh and more capacity) that actually comes with those discs included.

Dual disc pack for $30 at Myers.

The other problem with the self weigh one is that people in Product Review complain it errors out sometimes.

Closest price to this I've seen for the other one is $329 at Costco and Philips won't do the cash back from them.

      • The model up, with autoweigh, has been cheaper than this after cashback. I expect that in the month before Christmas we will see more discounts on this.

        • Maybe :) Bing Lee is $369 but would be OK if they had the ebay 20% off.
