      They all catch fish. The swim action of all these soft plastics are determined mainly by shape, not the polymer.

      Since all of them have the same basic shape, I'll touch on the polymer.

      Gulp stores it in this slimy fishy smell. If the plastic is left out to dry even for a day, it's done for. And it stinks. Berkeley says the smell attracts fish, I don't see a difference.

      Z man is stored dry. I have left a few open packs in the boat for a few weeks and they were still catching fish. They cost a bit more but from my experience, the reason why I replace them is usually drying out.

      If you're fishing warm water where fish are aggresive and your main reason for switching softies is bite damage, go gulp.
