Hey everybody,

I just received an email from PopCap saying they've discounted their iOS games for this weekend only (I assume US weekend), and that profits will be going to the Red Cross for Relief efforts in Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

Games include Plants vs. Zombies, Bejeweled, Peggle etc, some of the most fun and most popular games available on the iPhone and iPad.

iPhone games are $1.19 each, iPad games are $2.49. I think they're normally about $2.49 and $4.99 respectively.

    Plants vs Zombies HD for 2.49 is a good deal … usually 8.99.

    Getting that "currently being modified" error with PvZ. Might need to wait a few hours before getting that one.

      i'll be getting it ASAP… i think i'll end up getting an iPad 2 and PvZ HD is hard to pass up at this price…

    This is the best price I have ever seen for PvZ on iPad. It's usually $8.99 I think, sometimes reduced to $5.99. So get it!

    I already have this, but will buy the other iPad app "Escape Rosecliff Island HD" and "Bookworm" for iPhone to help out.

    I grabbed it! Good price and great for Japan.

    IMHO this is a much better deal that the top voted Telstra offer. How about 2 days of profits to Japan and no free calls overloading the network.

    if you already have pvz for iphone running on your ipad, will you notice any difference if you get the ipad-hd version ?

      they are different. ipad version has more Quick Games.
      also, HD pics do look better
