  • Moto Z2 Play 4GB/64GB w/ Snapdragon 626 w/ Super AMOLED Display $238 AUD @ Coolicool

I guess yours is the AU version with Band 28? Local manufacturer warranty, or import?

    • I want to know this one also.

    • Hi Manic,
Yes, as per description, all our handsets are AU Stock and comes with local manufacturers warranty, so the Z2 Play is the AU version with Band 28 and local Motorola manufacturers warranty.

    • Band 28 not that important to me and if needed a phone I'd go with Coolicool. You get almost 2 phones for the price of 1.

      • Yes, i think the importance of band 28 is over-rated.
Possibly because the 3G equivalent, 850 "NextG" matters a lot.

It’s extremely important for 4G coverage outside major cities and towns.

          • @interfreak: And what practical difference do you think that makes?
You do understand how most phones switch to 3G for phone calls, right?

As far as I am aware, 850MHz 3G coverage is much broader than LTE.
Especially "outside major cities and towns.". I think you may be confusing NextG with 4GX.

You will of course likely get greater speed on 4G, where available.

            • @bargaino: What practical difference does it make? 4G voice and data.

MUCH faster than 3G speeds, and much more stable when signal strength is weak compare to 3G for both data and voice.

850Mhz 3G coverage only applies to Telstra, not Optus BTW - and will be dead as soon as 2020.

              • @interfreak:

                4G voice

Does the Z2 Play do voice over 4G? It is relatively new tech.

How could Telstra shut down 3G with so many 4G handsets still using 3G for voice?

  • Do you have samsung s8 plus?

    • Hi wiewie,
Unfortunately we are currently out of stock on the S8 Plus

Are you guys going to restock the Pixel 2 Xl or get the Pixel 3's?

  • Can someone try convincing me not to buy p20 PRO PLEASE?
How much of a upgrade to P20Pro from s6 edge in terms of tech. Always used iPhone so no idea with Android.

    • +2

Arguably has the best camera on the market only maybe better by it's newer sibling, the Mate 20 Pro.
Techwise it is up there with all the flagships (S9, iPhone X etc).
Only downside is no SDCard if that is important to you.

      • +1

There are some news coming out today about defects (green edges) on Mate 20 Pro's screen. So I would be cautious unless Huawei provides a solution.

        • i have a mate 20 pro and luckily for me the screen is perfect.

However this never was reported for p20 pro so no reason to be cautious on that phone. My wife has one, it's a brilliant device.

    • Nup. Have an P20 pro, and love it. P20 Pro cpu is meant to be equivalent to a slight jump up from a S7 Edge

    • The chip is slower than the snapdragon though and it has poor image stabilization. I would fork out the extra couple of hundred for the new mate 20

Love that LG phones fall so fast. Very happy with my LG G6, but I'm tempted.

    • G7 held on fairly well compared to previous years.

      • +1

Very tempted by G7. Need good audio quality and wide angle camera. Worried about battery though.

        • Yea same perspective as you im not too sure of the battery

          • +2

@vishalpandi97: If it helps Ive had an LG V30+ for almost a year and the battery is excellent, very similar specs to the G7

    • Right there with you. My G6 could go to my wife, who's found a need for a dual sim phone. Her G5 can go onto gumtree. Huzzah for the hand-me-down game!

      • Wife is on my old 6P and it’s going well, haha.

  • Wow super cheap on the Freedoms!

  • Damn, I literally just bought the G7 5 days ago from Allphones using the previous voucher for $719…

  • G7 dropped price really fast! Only few months was 1k before?

    • +1

LG's have a history of losing 40% within 6 months of the initial release price.

      • yeah because their brand has no value

  • Any chance on getting the newer range on Nokia's in?
But that price on the g7 is tempting too

  • I had a bootlooped G4 and even though Kogan refunded in full 9 months after purchase I felt it was the best phone I have ever had.

I will always be optimistic about LG since their large bootloop issue, but it will always hold a place in my heart for some undesired reason.

  • Is there any pink gold P20 Pro available?

  • +1

When do we have LG G7+ or LG V40?

  • Unable to apply code for Chromecast

    • Neither can I, I'm getting "you already applied this code to an order"

  • Come on sub-500 g7….

  • @Rep if I buy the P20 pro, is it possible to leave instructions for the invoice name to be someone else? For TRS purposes. Thanks.

  • Would the P20 Pro be a significant upgrade from the S6. Really umming and ahhing.

  • Huawei Mate 20 included but as usual jack the price :(

  • Damn, was going to finally pull the trigger on this one and the Twilight colour is out of stock :( … Nooooo! haha

EDIT: Twilight back in stock. Purchased :)
