  • x-t20 is a great camera! good price.
but I will wait until Xmas he he

  • +6

maybe I'll send this post to the people listing these on Gumtree lol

    • They’re selling above the new listing prices. Lol

  • Too bad there isn't the 18mm or 23mm f2. Hopefully the 16mm f2 releases pretty soon.

  • Amazing! Might just pull the trigger for the kit lens i think

  • +1

I already have Nikon and Canon cameras so I'm resisting. I could easily spend about $6k here and get into Fuji.

    • A trifecta pays higher dividends!

      • +2

If I were a rich man, I'd have a room dedicated to each of my hobbies.

  • Superb price, though I wish the 23mm f/1.4 been under 600$.

    • +1

I'm currently using the 23 f/2 and can't fault it. It's fast, it's compact, weather sealed and good value.

      • Nah, f/1.4 or nothing. The kit lens 18-55mm already does f/2.8 at wide frames.

  • +3

I'm not planning on buying anything but I'm still giving a + vote because good deals plus very nicely done post.

  • +1

Wow been eyeing pancake lens on ebay 2nd hand for $150-200.

    Best time to buy.

  • Think also there is a Cashrewards on eBay for 1% + FlyBuy points.

The X20T is an exceptional camera. I have the 23mm f/1.4 and the 90mm f2.
Looking to pick up a 16-55 f2.8 and 56mm f/1.2 (The 90mm is just too damn long)

  • +2

Is the X-T20 good for a first mirrorless camera? Looking to pick up photography for landscapes and scenery in general.

Looking to learn full manual shooting.

    • +3

Yup sure is. Can be full manually or semi auto. The menu and interface actually cater for advance and beginner users.

As you move on and get into landscaping / long exposures. You might need a frame for the body so it can mounted tilted / stabilised on a tripod.

      https://www.ebay.com.au/i/352011007875?chn=ps

Then you have to look at investing in Polarised filters / ND filters and software to process the photos. The $$ for the body is the tip of the iceberg ;)

      • Cheers. Would you wait for TRS period to buy or is this enough of a sale to ignore TRS?

    • +5

Get the X-T20 + XF 18-55mm kit and you won't be disappointed. Absolute bargain at $1083.20

      • Shame I'm not leaving within 2 months. You reckon it's better to wait till closer or is this bargain good enough to override the TRS?

        • Camelcamelcamel says regular price is over AUD 1500. So cheaper now.

        • +1

          Wait. Cashback end next year.

          • @snvl: Thanks, didn't know that! Saved me a fair bit of money, was close to pulling the trigger.

Ends mid Jan and that's within 2 months for me. Awesome timing, just need to look out for another camera store 20% off till then.

      • Which is the best lense to go with this model' i dont want to carry more than 2 lenses' one comes with the body' which another should I get? What about  Fujifilm Fuji Fujinon X Series XF 23mm F1.4 R Prime lens ?

    • you won't regret

  • any good lens for Sony A6000?~~

  • do they give a proper tax invoice? thinking to TRS it back, going overseas soon.

    • They do

  • Their Canon wide angel len after 20% still more expensive than other store. Shame! Thought I can score some bargain.

  • +1

Some are no longer available. :(

  • camera house has ended most of their listings.

    • All of their listings in this post have ended early. Had my eye on a lens with 6 remaining but it's gone now. :(

    • +1

I might be a condition with the FujiFilm distributor to keep others happy

This happened last time but it was with TEDs Cameras. 20% + Cash back deal.

  • What a shame some r not there.. this is good price, bought xt20 for 970 after cashback last year, and xf35mmf2 for 500 without cashback

  • Why did they do that. Shame.

  • +2

Got a Sony Nex6 that has served me well, but just impulse purchased the X-T20 18-55mm kit for my upcoming Japan trip.

    List Price: $1729.00
    Less 20% Ebay code: $1383.20
    Less 1% Cashrewards: $1369.37
    Less 10% TRS claim: $1231.05
    Less $300 Fuji cashback: == $931.05 ==

At that price I couldn't let it go.

    • +1

      TRS is ~$160

      • Correct if they use the list price of $1729.00. I was assuming the tax invoice will show the discounted price of $1383.20.
Hopefully you're right and I'm wrong.

curse you Ozbargain. You once again cost me money
Bought an X-T3. Upgraded from X-T20 (which my niece will get). Best price I have seen (only out a few months though). Im sure it may get cheaper during christmas but unlikely to go much below $1900 (its $2300 recommended) and I can use it now and not wait. AU stock also. Not grey market.

    • X-T3 listing hasn't been pulled yet. I want to wait for X-Pro 3 but this deal is so tempting. If you can get TRS on top doubt it'll get this cheap for quite a while.

  • +1

They pulled all not all, but most of their listings? Why??

    I'd just convinced myself that I needed a XF 27mm F2.8 lens to go with the X-T20 that I bought…guess I don't.

There is still a few things of interest left, but I'd be quick if you want them:

    • the 27 is still there or back there again?

  • Dang just about to buy.

  • Many CameraHouse items have been relisted again.

  • Anyone know if they combine shipping. I have 4 items in my cart and shipping is $40, 2 lens caps, a strap and a lens

  • What happened to the stock?

  • There was ONE 16-55 f2.8 left last night and when I checked again this morning it was already gone. $10xx after cashback, it's a steal!!

    • I had it sitting in my cart and it’s gone before I could checkout this morning :(

      • glad to hear I'm not the only one…

good luck! with these ebay deals lately there should be another 20% off before cashback finishes up

    • Very strange. Same thing happened to me Nov last year with the Teds 20% off too. I had planed to take it as TRS but they said they had none in stock even as on eBay it was listed. In the end they did honor their sale and order one in for me from their distributor.

  • +1

Maaaaan. Please bring it back :(

  • Fujifilm XF 27mmF2.8 is all gone

  • X-T2 is still available. Currently using the X-T1. Damn… should I upgrade to this or wait for a better X-T3 deal in the future?

    • Wait for a x-t4 deal

      • With Fujifilm, you wait for the new release and then for Fujifilm to run a cash back deal on existing models within the same calendar year. At least that’s how it worked for the last 2 rounds.

I suppose coming from an X-T1 is there a meaningful upgrade jumping to X-T2. At least from a photographer’s perspective. Im actually adding XF 10-24mm and 23mm in the collection first but then this came up. Well whatever’s left of the promotion.

  • My X-T20 kit turned up today after being posted yesterday Adelaide -> Newcastle. Pretty impressed with that shipping time.

  • +1

just bought the last XT3 the other day from camera store australia, received it pretty quick, and now, some stock popping up for those interested.

they also have Fujifilm XF 50-140mmF2.8, but more expensive…

  • +1

2 more of X-T20 black with 18-55mm are available again now. Thanks OP

    • +1

bought one, since I joined OZbargain, I spent more money than I paid for my Uni, I refreshed eBay page 10 times so that someone would buy but eventually pulled the trigger. Mate, what is the max amount you can claim from TRS?

      • +1

max TRS is the GST =) $157.18 for the XT20 + 18-55mm pretty sure.

        • +1

I bought several gadgets, this camera, surface laptop, sony NC m3, Note 9 and a few other things this month, can I claim TRS on all those things?

          • +3

@[Deactivated]: You will (should) need to declare it if you are bring them back into the country.

            • @snvl: Most of them are gifts. Thanks for info.
