Looks to be regular or classic fit, not slim fit

  • Good find OP

  • Nice!

  • Have never met anyone who would use close to a Size 46 but I guess catering to everyone?

  • +3

It's shirtfronting deals like this that cause me to lose my shirt.

  • +24

PSA - I’ve found stuff I’ve purchased from OzSale to be extremely low quality and counterfeit labels.

    • Bought a couple, but at the price thats lower than Kmart/Big W homebrands, you can't really expect much.

      • +9

I'd be expecting a $60 David Jones shirt.

    • +2

      Its $5

    • +2

ozsale is on my block list due to spam
Yeah they are known to sell cheap and counterfeit labels

    • +2

How on earth are they still in business after selling counterfeit goods?

I've bought from Ozsale in the last free shipping promo and the order hasn't' arrived yet and now I'm worried.

      • +4

Because people brush it off as "it's $5, what did you expect?"

  • bought one..thanks OP.

  • Where is the size chart?

  • Bought couple

    • +1

      Now they will procreate

  • -1

At $5 and free delivery… why not?

    Bought a couple.

    Thanks OP!

  • what size is 43cm collar supposed to represent in regular sizing?

  • Only white ones left
    Bought one
    Cheers OP

  • +1

How on earth would they be selling David Jones shirts for that price? How would they get David Jones shirts in the first place? BS

    • Could be out of season stock or incorrectly printed tags and they can't sell at full price?

    • +3

Dj's had a big writedown in inventory last year (they produced shit clothes that no one wanted). I have bought these shirts from ozsale before. They are def from DJ's but the quality is real crap. After couple of washes, they are good for rags.

  • -2

OP congratulations on all the badges you are being awarded!

  • +1

I have found that Ozsale ignore requests to unsubscribe.

  • Man almost everything sold out there is no stock

    • yep i saw a 44cm collar left for that white long sleeve shirt

  • What a coincidence I just bought three shirts today from target for a job interview tomorrow.

They cost about $20-30 each. Oof

Will stock up some more from this.

    Thanks OP.

    • +4

3 shirts for the interview? Do You sweat a lot? 😃
      Good luck tomorrow 👍

Oh dear. These kinds of shirt deals tend to go very quickly (as this one did) so rushed in to grab a couple before doing any real due diligence.
Reading up around the internet, I now find ozsale has a long history of people complaining about lousy products, fakes, long waits, lousy customer service, incorrect orders, problems unsubscribing from emails etc.
    Mea Culpa, fingers crossed.

    • +1

      There is always chargebacks.

Personally I don't think anyone will bother to counterfeit DJ's private label. This was their desperate attempt to stay relevant after being bought out of SA Woolworth (not Woolies) three years ago.

Having said that, I don't expect these to be 60 dollar shirts. More on par or hopefully better than Kmart homebrand ones, which are about 10 bucks each.

Just have to see how it goes.

    • Received mine after 4 days, and no complaints, happy enough for what they are.

  • -2

$5 does it matter if you only even use it once? Would cost more to have it dry cleaned.

    • +1

Yes because a $50 shirt you can use more than 10 times.

  • +2

Was keen until I saw Ozsale. These are likely to be a similar at a glance but counterfeit product, if it arrives. At least there are chargebacks if anyone actually bought them.

    • -3

For $5, what do you expect? So many sooks on this site. I want examples of them selling counterfeit products please.

  • -1

Is Oz sale really that dodgy? Oh well, at $5 might be worth a shot, I would think.

    • +1

That's what they prey on. 'Only x dollars' means it's small enough for most people to not bother disputing it when they don't get the real thing.

  • +4

Bought 4 Pierre Cardin shirts for $15 each…then saw the comments about them being dodgy.

    kicks rocks

  • +3

Looking forward to my 'Jetty Pier' shirts arriving in six months, size smedium.

  • +1

Received it today. Shirts look good. Thanks OP.

    • +1

Looks like my ones is due tomorrow (Parcel Collect). Lets see how it goes.

Did they send you an email or any notification that they have shipped the items? Got nothing but checked auspost, and the tracking details showed up.

Got my authentic "David Jones Classic" shirts today. Came with the original DJ's reduced sticker and security tags.

But seriously though, the fabric is pretty flimsy and got this weaved pattern on it. Better than the 10 dollar Kmart shirts, but not much more than that. The "reduced" 37.95 price is still way too high. Not suprised they offloaded to someone like Ozsale for cheap.

    • Wait until the 1st wash..fun begins after..

      • +1

Already washed one. Still in one piece and looking good.

I have bought cheap stuff from Kmart and Target, and the washing machine is never an issue.

What washing machine are people using thats tearing cloth apart?

        • It just depends on your expectation mate..if you are used to buying clothes from Kmart then these DJs shirts would be fine. But if you are expecting the quality of the RRP then you would be thoroughly disappointed..

          • @stockastics: But you are still not answering how the washing machine is chewing up the cloth?

99 percent of my cloth are from OP shops, and all have high RRPs. I only get stuff from Target/Kmart when I need a couple of identical items. E.g. white polos for work. From what I have seen, there isn't any difference in washing machine damage between the low RRP items and high RRP items.

            • @annarchon: The Djs shirts which I bought from Ozsale are not wearable for my office use after 1st wash as some thread have come off and the material has faded. I usually wear CT,TM or Brooks brothers shirts and no issues with washing (same machine)..

  • +1

I received my parcel today. Happy with it
