Also $17.99 on google play books, kindle and likely iBooks (https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Matthew_Reilly_T…)

I'm excited to get into this, Jack West is a legend! If you are new to the series, start with 'The Seven Ancient Wonders' then read the six …, the five…, the four…, and now the three…!

    • Yup I got it for $17.99 on Kindle, but it was OP's post that reminded me that it was out so that I could go and buy it.

They're a relatively quick read and pretty enjoyable, as are the Scarecrow series and the standalone ones like Contest.

        • whats the name of the book

          • @Blitzfx: These are in the Jack West Jr Series:

            Seven Ancient Wonders (2005)
            The Six Sacred Stones (2007)
            The Five Greatest Warriors (2009)
            The Four Legendary Kingdoms (2016)
            The Three Secret Cities (2018)

            • @ruttager: Oh I meant, which one has the cross over? I've read up to… six sacred stones I think (I actually have them all, sadly haven't read them all). Can't remember if #6 had the one with the downed airplane in the desert and it was set to explode.

Edit: went to bigw to suss it out, confirm hard cover :) thanks OP

  • Yay! Just in time for his book tour :D

    • Where is the list of where/when he's appearing?

        • Its a bit confusing for some when he has 2 different locations at the same time (10 DECEMBER (MON) – PERTH
6:30pm DYMOCKS BOORAGOON, ALL SAINTS COLLEGE (TALK & SIGNING)) , hopefully will be clarified later as one's right behind my house .

        • thanks mate

If I'm honest - I'll be buying the hard copy to collect and sign, and potentially obtaining the ebook version by dubious means to actually read on the Kindle.

  • These books are the only physical books I buy now. Everything else is digital.

    • Mine is exactly the same!

      • Thanks for confirming. Saves me a trip back to bigw

  • I really need to get a move on reading his books.

Hey guys, created an account just for this post, and I'm unsure if this is against the rules or not but here goes.

This is an absolute bargain. And for a very good reason. The price is actually below their cost price. Big multi-purpose retailers take a loss in certain areas (books) to aggressively force independent retailers to go out of business. Now I know this is a bargain website, and honestly the consumer is the winner here. But the small businesses have no hope of competing when big companies sell the product for below their cost.

So, if you can afford it, please shop small and local!

As for the book, so excited for it, probably my favourite author, and have recently re-read the series to get up to date again. I hope to catch him at a signing, he's a top bloke who has been through a lot, and does us Aussies proud.

Thanks for the post Mattimus. I agree that the consumer is the winner in this case, but in the longer term will lose out if the small businesses go out of business. Definitely shop small and local where you can!
