Ryobi 1800w 2000psi Pressure Washer RPW140SC $129 @ Bunnings

190

Went searching for the Gerni $199 deal and came across this. Cant find rrp but a bargain over the $119 model as it has the surface cleaner and hose reel.

Says out of stock for my local but at least 20 there.

  • much difference with power et. with this one and gerni $199 one ?

  • I just picked up the Bosch 42-13+ Pressure Washer - 1885 PSI from supercheap auto ebay for $209.30 + Postage with the jumper30 and p5off codes yesterday. Down from $399 and I think it will be a decent one. Also had a call from them to say they only had display stock left so I was able to get them to refund the postage cost and include a deluxe patio cleaner as the one in it is just a basic one apparently.

  • Does anyone know if 500psi makes a notable difference? Like is it going to make it notably faster for residential use if I get this one over the $49 aldi deal?

    • Craps all over the Aldi one, good value but don’t expect top quality.
Can be found cheaper iif you don’t require the patio cleaner, but it works well.
I returned the Aldii one. Haven’t tried the Bosch but hear it is good.
Flow rate is equally or more important than pressure, depending on the type of cleaning.

It has been this price for at least 2 months.

  • It's a decent unit, bought one few months ago for $139.

However, there are some false advertising with this. The roller it comes with is merely to fool you into thinking it's one of those $400 units.

The roller doesn't work, you cannot put the pressure-hose around it plugged in, and just reel it during use. It will kink the hose, damaging it. I thought I was losing my mind when trying to work it, but after 3 people and several PhD's this was the conclusion.

You can disconnect the pressure-hose, pull it through halfway in the reel, and then wind it up….for a long-term storage. But if you want to use it, you have to fully unreel it again, plug it in, and just use it with the hose dangling around.
