I was lucky to get a Goole Pixel XL for $239 in September from cutpricegadgets… although refurbished.
I ordered 32gb version and got the 128gb by mistake
My best buy online of all time.

    • Woah thats lucky.

    • link?

      • They no longer sell Pixel XL, only the Pixel 2 XL at $656

I bought mine when there was a 20% off sale as well.

For diehard Pixel fans who need a headphone jack.
I was prepared to scoff at this deal but when I stopped to think about it, a few (software) features from the Pixel 2 eventually trickled down to the original.

Should still have a year of support in it and much more life after that.

    Bummer that it's only 32gb … I'd consider a 64gb, but still want a 64/128 Pixel 2 non-XL

  • It's so old phone, it's not really a deal.

    • +4

      It's still a decent phone for 2018.
Great camera and has Android 9.0 already (a lot of big phones doesn't have it yet).
      This price isn't too bad.

    • im using it at the moment with night sight feature APK. the camera is still better than iphone Xs

Hard to believe they still go for this much.

The Apple 2016 equivalent iPhone 7 32GB currently goes for $749.

  • I'd pay about $300 for any model over 3yrs old. They'll be made useless by their 4th year with lack of updates. They should be aiming to clear stock at cost than have dead stock… imo on mobiles…

made useless by their 4th year with lack of updates

Except this is a Google Pixel - updates come much longer and alternate roms even longer
It is already on the very latest version of Android and has inherited features from the Pixel 2 & 3

I paid $300 2ndhand 6 months ago and happy with mine
$439 is not 'cheap' but fair given the quality, warranty, and longer support

        fair point. +1

  • Out of curiosity, if I purchase a used Pixel phone, am I still eligible for the unlimited Google photo storage?

    • +1

For sure - I bought 2nd hand and got the storage

      • Thanks, mate. So, it does not check the email address used when it was activated for the first time. As long as you upload your photos from the Pixel device you'll get unlimited storage.
