That price is ex-GST so it ends up being more expensive ;)

Nice one, rather buy from bg than AliExpress but just did a quick search.

      • I think Ali Express now include GST in their prices.

Can confirm that they do not.

Any idea how these compare to the Pro HD earphones? I have a pair that need replacing after 1.5 years of service

I had the original Hybrid pro and the Pro HD, think I might just buy to try out. The Pro HD has the bassier response out of the old two, and not quite as clean but I take bass over clean any day.

Thanks for the input. Just to check, the Pro HD that you're referring to is the triple driver earphones? I think the Hybrid Pro were dual driver.

        • Yeah I think you're right. Probably why the Pro had bassier punch but not by a super big margin. Both are quite good I just liked the Pro better after I broke them in (when first got it, the highs and mids weren't as clean as the Hybrid).

That's weird. I have both too and I feel it's the opposite. The Pro HD has more clarity and detail, but the treble sounds harsh.

    • Funny how mine failed after 1.5 years as well.

  • Good one. Just ordered mine.

  • Sad to say but its hard to justify wired phones when the current and next gen phones are phasing out the 3.5 jack. No hope of them coming back either.

    No interest in adapters either

In ear monitors and wireless can't hold up to those and normal earphones , not yet at least.

The problem with BT audio is that it's dependent on the built in DAC of the headset. They're usually poor quality.

      • Unless you opt for something more pricey. My Meizu POP earphones are amazing quality for what they are. Maybe not quite as good as my Xiaomi Hybrids as I'm now using them with a Fiio amp.

        • I got the same ones, they keep having disconnects here and there but I was surprised at the bass they put out. Definitely a step below the Hybrids though as you say (which I also have) but at least Bluetooth is heading in the right direction.

But as I say, they're not quite there yet

    Are these new?

Are they better than Pro HD?

I've just received mine today. Holy Moly I'm very impressed with these.

My current earphones were the Revonext QT2 2DD+1BA and I find the Xiaomi Mi Hybrid Pro 2 having more base and much less piercing with the highs.

Besides it feeling cheap, I think they lack something and I can't seem to pin point at what it is… But these are really good for $25.

Btw, I'm running these with a Sony Xperia XZ Prem.
