      But you obviously notice them!

As a fellow commuting cyclist - yes. I don't mind people lit up like a Christmas tree - but be considerate & point the beam away from people's face. Don't get me started on peeps pushing in front of the line at the lights and then only to overtaken later. 90% of the times these idiots have lights on their helmet.

        • I think side rear mirrors should be made compulsory.

    • +14

I loathe the fact that riding is so dangerous that cyclists are compelled to light themselves up like Christmas trees and even then drivers still fail to see cyclists.

      • +20

Hard to see cyclists when you're looking at your phone.

    • +1

I ride bike too but I would never blind riders coming from opposite direction. It's just stupid wearing blinding flashing lights pointing at eye level, and I still see these mentally challenged ppl everyday

    • Why? I mean, I understand if they are riding in shared riding/walking areas, and blinding people. But on the road, what is the problem? The light is so much less than a car light.

    Not Aero!

  • yeh nah….that helmet is some funny shit :D

Wear it backwards and you can look like KITT from Knight Rider while you run into things

      • +1

        …now im reconsidering

      • +1

Was thinking more wear it backwards and use your phone to do a weird metallic sounding voice filter and you could be a Cycling Cylon from Battlestar Galactica!

  • Any idea what the "alarming system" feature does?

    • +1

Cant speak for these but with most high end cycling stuff the alarming feature is otherwise known as the price tag!

  • Bought a new helmet from K-Mart.

    It was $7.00

Yep $7.00. Could have bought a Flashlight and strapped it to the back.
