  Hakushu Distiller's Reserve is a very average one and you can get much better value with other whiskies. Saying that, Hakushu 12 YO is a nice whisky but the price is much higher. YMMV.

    Fair. The 12 is bloody fantastic, should be around $120. We had them side by side recently though and the DR isn't bad!

        lol no, $120 is the price it really should be, considering it's quality/taste and the other whiskies that can be bought for at or under that price. It's now around $300 (which is crazy, but that's what happened when it got discontinued), but every now and then they pop up for $170-$190
