Have you tried it? I haven't tried it but have heard the brand is good value for money, and the 12 is well regarded by many
Once, didn't rate for any distinguishing quality, but far from offensive.
I'm at the stage where I savour a bottle over 6 months and don't want to put ethanol into my body unless it's worth it. It's less expensive to buy quality and enjoy it slowly.
Just trying to get into it and have this as a gift from my friend - where does this sit in the hierarchy of whiskey world?

I love a cognac myself, give any random cognac a try some time. Amazing stuff (its not whiskey though, its brandy)

The old version Talisker 10 is so much better than this new version. Quality went down with the relabel

Issuse is with coles online as you are purchasing alcohol through them from Liquorland.
I was a pain to get my refund.
There are some CRACKING Australian whiskys about for not too much more than this. Spring Bay, Remnant, Whisky in Isolation and Killara to name a few.
I'm all for supporting the Australian whiskey industry but I think that's being a bit disingenuous isn't it? Most Australian whisky is 500ml and you'd be lucky to get it at $100, more often they're $120+. 700ml bottles would only be starting at $120 and easily gets close to if not higher than $200/bottle.
Being price competitive with the big Scotch brands is definitely not something you can say about Aussie whiskey.
