Go to www.airasia.com to sign up.
Then go to https://www.airasia.com/ot/en/promotion.page and book from there.

Might be a simpler way but their website is …rather buggy.

  • will Avalon have TRS?

    • Great insight, please tell us more.

  • May 6 to Feb 4 '20 2020 is that correct.

    • That’s what the website says.

  • I have cheap flights to Kuala Lumpur already and am interested in using it as a connecting flight to one of their other destinations in asia during this period.

I have already been to kuching, bangkok, samui. Can someone recommend somewhere else that would be interesting to visit.

I was thinking Colombo but not sure..

    • Langkawi is nice to relax.

    • Siem Reap

    • Siemen Reap, or Luang Prabang (Laos).

    • Penang is hands down my favourite city in the world. Spend a couple of days in Georgetown, head over to Escape theme park, visit the night markets and eat incredible food for cheap (Farlim market on Wednesday nights is particularly good), sit up on the rooftop bar at the Bayview and look out over the port… highly recommend.

      • Forgot to mention Penang. I wen't there for a week and got bored. Batu Ferringhi was cool but hotels were overpriced and there isn't much to do.
        Good food though.

  • Had been in Langkawi few years back. Old town & city . I don't like it.

  • What are my chances of getting equally dirt cheap tickets to get to KL before 2020?

    • +1

well they do it every year, but that's not their only sale. And there are other things that happen - eg when Avalon opened in Melbourne for them they had $99 one way tickets! But we can't totally predict the future, just report on the sales when they do happen :D

  • Thanks for the heads up! Scored some great bargains on JetStar using their price beat policy :-)

  • I had a quick look. I'm looking at going to KL in Jan 2020. The fare TO KL was great, $169 but the return was over $400. I think I'll wait a bit.

    • Jan is peak. off peak it will be much cheaper.
