Anyone know if registering for this makes it less likely to be eligible for double status offers in the future? (not that the last few have been targeted, used to be I think)
Not sure, but I registered for the last one with double status offers (though didn't purchase) and this one has also been successfully activated.
This is only for codeshare or any QF?

And I just purchased Japan flights via Qantas on Thursday… Any tips to get the promotion applied retroactively?
The only way would be to cancel and rebook. The promotion only applies to new bookings made during the period, so any previous booking is ineligible.
