In my suburb, the Shell/Coles station is consistently the most expensive. Even after 10 cents discount it is still dearer than the regular prices at Woolworths/Caltex & Metro. No idea how Shell/Coles survives against its competitors.

Same, our local one is consistently around 10-12c a litre higher than two others within a couple of hundred metres. Always astounds me why anyone is ever in there. I can only think that a lot of lease/fleet cars have to use them or something.
The Optimax 98 at shell is always more expensive than its competitors I've noticed. I actually once asked the guy at the counter, and he was stumped, couldn't give me an answer lol.

Agreed. It is often the most expensive where I am, but we have our fuel cards set up with Shell for reasons that I am not privy to.

Is it any Coles Express station shell? this 6c offer can be amazing together if stackable with flybuys 10c email + 4c voucher = adding to 20c off.
Sydney or NSW current Coles Express price are not too bad

Yesterday I stacked, 10c carsales, 6c Flybuys offer, 4c Coles receipt & 10c for spending $20 in store (2x Quilton), to get 30c off per litre. In true Ozbargain spirit I had my 4 x 20L cans with me and an almost empty car purchasing 145L of petrol!

ACCC named shell/coles the expensive petrol stations over others, sometimes by a long way. So unlikely to be worth it even with this token discount
Bit of a weird one I reckon as many many cars survive off 95 these days. My local shell only have 98 (costs 6+ cents more) and guessing it's not the only one…
Coles Express tuned down their discount offers from 10c/L to 6c/L for Flybuys members. I previously seldom used this discount because their price were sometimes 10c/L more than the others. It was a deal if the difference is smaller than 10c/L, but I would aviod Coles Express now.

nice, but i go to costco, it still comes out cheaper and better petrol. i will let my friends know without costco memberships.
Agree with all the comments about Coles being more expensive but I've found for Diesel they are comparable since the price doesn't fluctuate as much for Diesel. So we'll save quite a bit still with any fuel discount!

Yep, I've got the same problem.
After I pick one of the Mustangs, it takes me to a new screen with "CLAIM 6C PER LITRE OFF SHELL FUEL!" written across the top.
Then nothing, no response, the screen stays blank below, so looks like no discount for me :-(

ahh my issue was due to an adblock extension. I disabled it and it worked for me :)
My local was only a couple of cents dearer than others today, so, I stacked my coupon, flybuys offer and this and saved 18c litre, so thanks OP!
Coles has the cheapest stations in Adelaide at the moment lowest is 125.5c per litre very few stations of any brand are over 129c

Coles Express Marsfield E10 1.229 probably one or two of cheapest shells in Sydney now. Confirm can stackable with others flybuys offers, 20cents off that! $36 for 35L pump ripper!

My Suncorp Coles express cards, left Camberwell on Friday, got to Dandenong on Monday, and transited Goomeri in Queensland on Friday……might see them hit Tassie in a weeks time hopefully….mind you our petrol prices are still at 160cpl plus.

dam after reading comments i thought i check before driving out to a coles express so i clicked on email to check if it was still valid and then a barcode popped up and said expires nov 21 but i have 6 mins to redeem in store. does that mean the barcode now cant be used after the 6 mins it just expires or if i click on email again with will give me another 6mins?
