      • Vote 1 for Dick

    • No, but being a Dick doesn't make you any fans, either.

Not an attack, just seemed like the wordscramble was there for the taking ;)

Officeworks have the Imation 4GB pocket flash drive for $6.94 not sure how it compares but link is below. There were plenty in store when I went and it was a normal ticket, not a special ticket or anything.

  • the cruzer slice was $1 each, what speed differences bewtween this and that??

  • Was tempted to buy a 4GB for $9 at HN, glad I didn't now.

  • I'm amazed at the votes USB drives continue to get.

I thought I was the only person that didn't own one. Don't you all have one by now?

Besides, do you really all need the extra $1 that badly? If it wasn't free delivery the cost of fuel could be half the cost of the flash drive :p

    • I haven't owned one for ages and I wouldn't own one in the near future.

  • Harvey Norman at MLC Centre has Toshiba USB flash drive 4gb for $5, 8gb for $10 and 16gb for $25.

  • It's OK price. If you search a little harder you may be able to get cheaper one from Ebay

  • $6.94 for imation 4GB at Officeworks from the catalogue

    • read/write speeds please
otherwise cheap chinese ones from those small chinese stores can be had for $3-4

Hell I got a kingston 8 GB(class 4)SDHC card for $11 from there. And not slow either

      • I'd be interested in speeds also. Like sometimes I would like to watch an avi file e.g. tv show via the USB port on my blu ray player without transferring to a DVD - would something like this suffice? Or is really only for transferring between devices?

        • Read speeds are generally a lot higher than write speeds on a USB stick. You shouldn't encounter any issues watching movies off a USB drive.

        • like Scrimshaw said it should be a problem but watch out for .mkv files, might get laggy

  • Hi scrimshaw. For some reason I cant reply directly to your post but thanks for that info.
