Product Description:
Gift yourself the sound you deserve with the Samsung 5.1 Ch Soundbar, that is designed to immerse you in audio visual experiences. This is achieved, in part, through Panoramic Sound, which fills your room with bold, energetic sound. But with Samsung Acoustic Beam, sound is mixed and delivered in such a way that it feels as if it is coming straight out of the TV, and right at you.

This soundbar comes with a specialised Game Mode, that optimises and adapts the sound according to what game you're playing. Whether you’re fighting your way through hordes of the undead or racing your way to victory in a souped up sports car, you will be getting great quality sound.

How does this compare to the Sony HTX9000F?

  • Damn, won't ship to Perth.

    • Looks like they excluded all locations on their ebay listing. I've updated the post.

  • $368 now… best price by far when doing a quick search on the net. Very average delivery timeframes though… December 5th the best they can do and i'm in Bundoora, 16km from Melb CBD.

    • yeah the dec 5 timeline sounds about right, H.N at aspley said dec 4 at the earliest.

    • Stock came in early… getting delivered tomorrow :)

  • This is an amazing price. It was the best sounding mid-range bar I heard in stores (probably because they had it set up the best too).

Try your luck at price matching with a store, if delivery sucks.

  • Took the plunge after grabbing the rear speaker special. 7 days delivery to Perth $368, seems a real lottery. Reviews look promising thanks OP and all.

  • Harvies at Aspley price matched this for me at $368, Everton park said no way not possible, sorry - but i guess it was :-). Only catch is there's no stock until dec 4, so I need to wait at least 20 days but with the $100 gift card from the Hisense TV deal, I'm ok with it.

    • Lol I did the Hisense and this too from HN. Hope for our sake it’s a decent setup, because the price was really sweet.

  • Just got a phone call from them - on back order, delivery 17th December.

  • If anyone's having initial setup dramas with this and a Hisense tv (maybe others), theres a couple of HDMI/CEC settings that once you turn all of them on in the tv it will work just fine. However I am finding the TV's inbuilt volume normalization worked quite well, and I haven't found a way to do it with this soundbar over hdmi because the EQ and sound options pretty much all get disabled when using the HDMI ARC connection, you can use the Optical out and keep the tv's sound options but then you lose the auto power on/off for the soundbar - I've read over at the whirlpool av forum that a logitech harmony controller might help solve that issue.
