I was offered 3 months for free

  •

How does this service compare to Spotify?

  •

Umm, isn't Amazon Music included with Prime?

    •

Yep, but not everyone has Prime.

They are slightly different products, Unlimited having a much larger catalog

The one which is free with Prime is limited to ~2mil songs, I think the unlimited one has something like 40mil songs?

Is the 2 million a random assortment of albums, or just "degenerate" POP-ular music ? Some of us have niche interests: Jazz, World Music, Ambient, Folk, Prog Rock, Classical, Chant, Film Soundtracks, Game Music, Swing, etc.

I haven't used it much, but it seems to have a wide range of categories of music/playlists you can choose from.

@djkelly69: But it is noticeably limited.

If you're just using it as radio replacement - "play 70s rock" for example - then it's fine.

If you're looking for a specific song there's a good chance it's not on there.

I believe the one included in prime has less songs (as stated below). Via Alexa, I believe you can request for a playlist but not for a certain song. I asked for certain songs previously but it said it requires Unlimited.

Unlimited lacks certain songs as well.. i don't think i'll be paying for it beyond the first 3 months

      •

I just tested on Echo and it will play specific songs with just Prime Music.

  •

Would it great deal as I already have prime. but I use Google home mini so mostly use Google play music and Spotify with it

  •

looks like a cluster (profanity) to me! will stick with Spotify

  •
