  To be honest i have this and a traditional mask and i find the traditional one is better.

  The extra air on these masks makes them more buoyant and diving down is more difficult.

  I suspect these are a fad - just like a hoverboard.

  Edit: Bring some detergent and wipe some on the inside of your goggles before you go in. Prolongs the inevitable fog up from occurring.

  I have a similar one and I find it much much better than a traditional one. No problem diving at all. I like being able to attach a gopro and breathing is so much easier. I've had mine for about 3 years now. Don't know about the detergent - wouldn't that irritate your eyes? I use spit but mine doesn't fog up.

    +1 I have an off-brand one of these and I find it's great. Far more comfortable and natural to use than a traditonal mask/snorkel, and with better clarity and far better peripheral vision. I'm only a filthy casual, but I have zero issues on relatively shallow dives

    Interesting. I'm with team traditional. Was fine at the surface, but go down a mere 1m and she fills up. I think if you have a flat round face you might be ok. Perhaps the smaller size might be better. My specs put me just on the large size.
