  • Great price

    • I pulled the trigger and feeling lucky that I didn't buy the one with asus controller version on the other day. lol

  • Bought it. No mention of capacity though

I am not sure but It must be 16GB version.

Looking at the same product (by code) on Kogan here it has 16GB.

Just bought it because it had an ancient arcade game (SkyForce) on it.

    finally ordered one. thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP

  • Can any owner comment on how well this device can play 4K mkv via usb? Is it as good as WD with 1080p mkv?

    • youtube mate. 4k on kodi works so good.

  • Is this much better than buying from Kogan for 250? Returns/warranty process etc…

    Sorry new to all this.

Currently still on minix x8h plus

Would this spdif thing be all i need to make it work with my spdif sound system? No surprises?

you are buying from ebay which is more renowned than Kogan. cheaper price always is a plus one. kogan is offering the standard price and it does not include a controller. with controller it is $329.

here is how you can get digital optical audio

  • Comparing from the previous out of stock deal from computer alliances, is the controller really worth 60 dollars?

    • I almost buy this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/414132) last time and considering it has an original controller, worth it for me.

    • With this price, it's normally with Asus controller. I didn't see this low with Oz stock but can't beat the earlier deal if you don't need the controller. :(

  • is this the first or second gen? edit: scratch that, it looks like the second gen without the microsd slot :(

    • Were Australian models ever first gen?

    • micro sd slot is only for the pro edition, not the standard edition. the pro edition is more than $500 as it also has more internal storage(500gb vs 16gb)

  • Just brought my 3rd Roku Ultra, but figure I'll try one of these. Hopefully these will be a little less intrusive, than Roku is with their constant call back to home.

Pretty bummed that I missed out on the non-controller version. I don't think the controller is worth the 60 for me since I have the Xiaomi controllers. Thanks for the deal OP

  • Cheaper tomorrow?

  • Now I need the stand!

  • Finally bought, missed the one earlier without the gamepad.

Question is since I been upgrading my boxes, should I get more TVs so the old ones still get used?

  • What is this thing like at running Plex? Was just about to buy an Apple TV 4K to replace my old ATV…want to stream to 4K

Thanks OP. Just bought myself an early Christmas present. Now to convince the wife to let me open it before Christmas….

  • Damn it, missed the last one wasting time activating bloody cash rewards.

  • Kogan has now also dropped their prices, which work out to be the same as Computer Alliance if you have Shipster and Amex:
