Some eBay store could make 512G max for 1800+, i believe this 256G max can be a even better price!

    • Are they Aus stocks? If so post them as a deal.

    • Yeah — cheaper here $1772.10

        Colours limited

        • Ah yeah just noticed.

      • Are these guys trustworthy?

        • Based on their ratings, looks pretty trustworthy.

wow, phone with a rice tag higer than a Louis Vuitton speedy 25 (don't ask me how i knew it).

not judging anything. just want to wow lol.

      a rice tag

      long grain?

I don’t think LV worth its price.

Nothing about intelligence, all about brand,

For me, its value equals to the shopping bags from Supermarket

        You meant to say jv?:)

Wear a bag once, or use a phone every day.

    • What type of steamer does it come with?

  • Do you reckon they'll hit $2k asking price for a flagship in the next year or 2?

    • +4

      They already have lol.

I bought a new X from these guys and when I checked the serial number on apple's website it came up as having an expired warranty.

Seller was good and accepted a return for a refund but my money still hasn't cleared into my bank so It's abit of a hassle.

    • +1

How can it warranty be expired for sealed phone? Warranty starts when phone is activated ie taken out of box etc..weird..

      • Yeh don't know. Maybe Apple's system error?

        • The phone should be activated before checking the warranty.

People can spend their money on what they wish, everyone has different financial statuses.

      • -1

And others can pass judgement on those who aren't well off but choose to spend money on yearly phone upgrades to keep up appearances rather than working towards a genuinely secure financial future - everyone has different philosophical stances.

I love when the Apple haters come out of the woodworks to trot this absolute rubbish, again and again.

The retention rate for Apple iPhone users is calculated at around 92% (Samsung are calculated at 77%), but the average retention of a device is a lot higher for Apple than any Android manufacturer. You are way more likely to upgrade your phone earlier than an Apple user if you use Android.

But hey, you don't get to talk absolute tripe about yearly phone upgrades, huh?

    • +3

Sadly even Android phones are trending towards this ridiculous price bracket. Note 9 512 $1799 (though street price is lower).

    • +3

This is at or near the price that almost all manufacturers are asking for for their flagships, it's just that Apple's is the only one that holds that value.

  • Any XR deal for me, please? thx all! Au stock with GST invoice~

  • I still have an iPhone SE. I know people will say my screen is small but you don’t notice until you move to a bigger one.

This is all a ruse to make you buy new phones. Built in obselence, annual minuscule upgrades and predictable marketing which makes the phone seem exclusive when it’s literally the most sold phone every year shouldn’t fool anyone on ozbargain!

    • +2

This is all a ruse to make you buy new phones. Built in obselence,

Kinda ironic coming from someone using an SE, no? How obsolete is your SE?

      Exactly.

I still have an iPhone SE. I know people will say my screen is small but you don’t notice until you move to a bigger one.

And you have perfectly shown one size does not fit all. You don’t need a bigger screen, others can’t use a smaller one.

      • others CAN'T use a smaller one? Yes they can, they just need to have the latest for the sake of it. Many of them (not all) won't even use the upgraded features, it's just a fashion accessory.

My SE isn't obsolete, but that's by my stubborn standards. There was a period where the battery wouldn't last very long after one of Apple's handy "updates".

        • others CAN'T use a smaller one? Yes they can

I remote login to my desktop to see the screen from my computer. One size doesn't fit all.

Great CPU and then it's all down hill from there. $1800 item for bimbos to look cool in their Instagram bathroom mirror selfies.

    • +1

Yet some literally make millions from them. Well, maybe one or two, while others could only dream!

    • So sour that your can't afford one.

    • Great CPU and then it's all down hill from there

Yes, what with it's class-leading A12 infrastructure, wide and telephoto camera lens (including Quad-LED flash), Super AMOLED 6.5" screen, best in-phone stereo speakers, it's all downhill from there.

      • +2

Lol, restrictive OS that treats its users like they're morons, a battery that was the standard 5 years ago, no SD storage option and a smart phone that can't be used as a USB mass storage device.

        • How does your "current gen" battery perform against the "five year old battery" in the iPhone Max? Does the "five year old battery" standard suck? Or is it as majority of users report a superior experience?

          • -1

@ThithLord: Majority of Apple users LOL
Yeah Instagram, Facebook and Twitter usage holds up well on an $1,800 device

            • -1

@Joey Jo Jo: Wow, totally didn't expect you tor esort to petty insults about how the phone is used. Totally. Here I am, browsing Instagram, while my colleague next to me on his Android is busy all day running an empire. Totally every-day kind of usage.

              /s

              • @ThithLord: I'm sorry you feel I insulted you. If you want to spend $1,800 on an over priced product endorsed by Kim kardashian you should do whatever makes you happy.
