Damn. Almost $600 cheaper then RRP? How do they get so low?

    • +1

Not sure mate, but purchased 256GB version of XS Max from previous deal from the same seller. Everything seems good.

    • How do they get so low?

      Enormous margins for other vendors?

      • Not really, they probably sign people up with these big plans and got the iPhone for free and selling for a profit. Well.. not sure what phones they having been given to these who signed up 🤣🎉

    • +5

Not sure if you are being sarcastic. Even at $1822.50, I don't any phone in the world ought to be priced that high!

      • +2

That’s why I’m looking @ Android again. Pushing 2k is a whole other level.

        • yes because no android phone is that expensive ,right?

      • +2

Only $5 a day for a year plus you have resale/trade in value people spend more on coffee

        • +3

This isnt on a plan, m8. Youre buying outright. Its $1822 right now.

    • Regretting paying that much differences for a iPhone from apple now….

  • +2

Didn't see this coming. First time Apple product price is down so quickly….

    • +3

They recently stopped releasing sales numbers for the various iThings.

One can guess at why but it probably isn't because they have massive sales volumes to hide is it. :P

    • +3

massive sale drops on all flagship phones

people aren't stupid enough to spend 2.5k every year on a new phone

      • +1

        You'd think so but…

        • i always thought $600 was outrageous… but $2.5k has really killed sales, i mean huawei are trying to flog off their flagship for $1200+, a bloody freaking huawei

of course there are plenty of people with too much ego and too little sence but no where near enough to sustain sales, stock levels are to the ceiling, prices will have to be slashed

      • I know someone….. no savings, living with family

  • Thanks, grabbed one in silver

  • 1 x silver left as of now

  • +1

Decent price, how are they so low compared to the RRP.

1800 dollars for a phone, apple sheep at its best. Wouldn't ever consider spending over 1000 dollars on a mobile phone 10 years ago.

    • +8

I don't think anyone would consider spending over $1k on a phone 10 years ago. But times have changed…

    • +9

I wouldn't think of spending over $20k on a car, although I'm sure others have different views.

    • +2

You do you bro, if you're happy with your Xiaomi or whatever you use, go nuts enjoy. Let us sheep overpay for these things.

    • +8

I think the prices of these new iPhones are a bit of a joke. Just how much higher will it go?

    • It's really good to know that you care so much how I spend my money.

    • Wow, that’s a really cool story. Do you have any others?

  • No longer in stock.

  • -8

Hmm new iphone sales are so poor, it's already been discounted online… what a shame.

    • +1

      Why a shame?

  • ffffuuuuuu missed out!

    • you'll get a better sale in a few weeks, trust me

  • Great iPhone posts thanks for sharing @Anurag

  • +8

Watching you all getting this '' bargain'' I feel kinda poor

  • god damn, I guess I am a bit out of touch (haven't upgraded my phone in nearly 3 years), does new phones all cost over $2k these days?

    • +2

No. But you wont be getting a new flagship under $1000 anymore :(

      • sure you will… they'll need to slash massive to clear stock, hardly anyone is buying these phones for 2k unless they haven't upgraded for a few years and even then… its 2k for what… minor tweaks

  • +1

Don't know why anyone spends that much on a phone, it's a waste. Have had my iPhone SE for two years & only cost me $450. Runs buttery smooth on iOS12 & honestly can't see myself upgrading for at least another 2 years.

    • +2

When your phone becomes the main piece of technology you use, it makes sense to spend more on it. Sure an Iphone SE might be manageable for you but maybe you're a manager who needs to be able to multitask and not have apps close when switching between them, or having a battery that actually last a day.

      • -2

Just like any other cheaper phones can do.

        • Yeah, most phones have the same performance but there is one really important differentiating factor, which is the camera. The one on my xiaomi is potato quality and blurry in low light. I gladly pay more for a good quality camera.

      • +2

I easily get a full days battery life by running my SE in low power mode. Don't notice any difference in performance using it.

        • Cool so you do so everyone should have the same usage as you? Have you tried running a gps-enabled app for some period of time. My older phones overheat and run out of power quickly whilst the new one stays cool.

          • -2

@AH: A manager must have an iPhone XS Max…. please.. give me a break. I am sure you use GPS with 4K video ALL THE TIME and decode / encode movies like crazy. You also need to play the latest games all the time.

I bought one for a family member. It's because it shows my appreciation and for her to show off. A big chuck of it goes to Apple tax. Not happy with press one button to turn the phone on, and press two buttons to turn the phone off (what do you call this? innovation? courageous?). Also, to unlock the phone, you must look at the phone (previously, just put a finger on the home button - for GPS / unlocking the phone while in car, that makes a difference). The most expensive phone with so much cost cutting.

You are a manager so man up and tell people the truth. You can afford one easily and your company might even buy you one so you might as well get the most expensive phone. GPS battery life and overheating, what a lame excuse.

            • +2

@netsurfer: Lol. Why are you so triggered? Also, don’t touch your phone while driving.

  • +2

I am a long time Apple user, but I found its difficult to spend that much on a phone, especially when other options are plentiful. My next device is probably not going to be Apple anymore.

    • I would like to change to Android but all my family uses iphone. and facetime is the biggest factor to choose iphone, especially calling overseas. Ive found that Viber and alike are not as good as facetime at least for me.

  • +2

It's randomly back in stock but at a slight higher price. Pulled the trigger

  • Great price… at the end your saving around $600 on the phone, considering I paid $1350 for my iPhone X 256gb about 12 months ago through officeworks price match.

Hopefully I can sell my 256gb X considering it has apple care+ on it… not sure what I would get for it…

  • Bought one. Price has jacked up by $70. Actually, iPhone XS Max 256GB (Gold, Silver, Grey) $1754.10 Delivered @ myphonez00 eBay deal was more preferred. $140 saving for 256gb storage is just too good for me - I dont really need 512 storage for now. But the reviews for myphonez00 are not good.
