Great deal for a brand new Pixel 7 Pro — hard to find cheaper unless you're going the refurbished route. Still a solid flagship with a sharp QHD+ display, Tensor G2 chip, and top-tier camera.

8 pro should be this price by now (or soon, after the release of the pixel 10 series)
Good advice once again PhoneNerd. Are you going to post it?
I would've posted it weeks ago if this site wasn't full of people who will comment but it was $499 at Telstra.
Yeah this is a bad deal. In June 2023 I bought one for $869. No reason to go the 7 series in comparison in this time frame.
It's OOS
No. Obsidian is in stock.
9Pro xl was couple of hundreds more recently ($888)..
With 10 coming out in 3 weeks 9 will have better prices soon7 Pro was released with Android 13 and it comes with five OS updates which means Android 18 in 2027 will be the last one, ie two more from the already released Android 16 for $649.
Given the 8 Pro was on sale for $499 very recently and the 9 Pro XL for $888, I would wait for another similar deal and both of these come with seven OS updates.
Downvoting.
The battery issue is a problem. The issue is more widespread than being reported. Google has unbelievably done as little as possible to make amends for this.
Nerfing everyone's battery, effectively removing the ability to use it for a full work day, as an attempted fix resulted in even more technical problems.
Pixel 9a was the same price.. I would go the 9a.
