i was looking at the OW price matching terms and conditions the other day. They state it must be the same product code, which was relevant to my item because the same item on newegg / amazon used a different product code.

    for this deal
    OW code - STDR5000303
    Newegg / Amazon Code - STDR5000103

    also…

when checking the code for this post it turns out Newegg have the drive for $182.60 inc GST and free shipping

Don’t forget 8% Cashback via cashrewards or shopback

    • Ohh yeah.. forgot about it :)

    • Isn't that only for items sold direct by Amazon AU?

Looking for one that has 2TB storage. Any on sale?

    • +2

      This one definitely has 2TB…

      • Is it a good price?

        • +2

not for only 2TB. perhaps if you sold the extra 3TB

    • I understand your interest. Drives over 2 TB aren't supported on some older hardware or on 32bit Windows XP, like my ancient laptop.

      • Also, portable HDDs >= 3TB tend to use SMR (a cost saving measure). Probably not a big deal for most people.
