    Currently umm-ing and ahh-ing on this, cracked my S8 screen badly very recently, thanks OP!

    Black: Excellent, Great
    Gold: Excellent, Great, Used / Fair
    Grey: Excellent , Great

    Excellent: $559 -> $447.20
    Great: $519 -> $415.20
    Used / Fair: $469 -> $375.20

    • Just pulled the trigger on this because every time I look at or touch my smashed up S8 I want to cry
      I went with Black, Excellent. Thanks OP
      Here's some random info / my though process.
      Official Galaxy S8 screen replacement is $220AUD for local stock
      Mine and these is international so expect $250 or higher for 3rd party repair
      Originally paid $712 during a big eBay sale Aug 2017
      Used/Fair is only $72 cheaper than Excellent, probably would regret not just choosing Excellent for 3-4 hours work
      Comparable prices only on 'used' grade, ~$100 cheaper than 'refurb' items on other seller listings
      Kogan new price is still $700 for these international models
      Kogan Refurb $589 12 month warranty, A/B Grade: which may have some noticeable cosmetic blemishes and heavier signs of wear and tear.

      • Get a LifeProof case man, I literally throw it at the ground and it has no issues. The case is a lifesaver! Warranty support is pretty good too.

        • Why are you throwing it at the ground?

            @Dropp: He discovered his shadow and was startled!?!

          • @Dropp: Haha to convince people that it does indeed protect my phone!

            My phone has some scratches on a corner, but that's because I dropped it when I took the case off.. facepalm

          Thanks but the bulky cases kill the phone experience for me, also I dropped it from a vehicle and it got ran over several times is that 'life' heh

      • Am tempted, but now you make me think it is too fragile and expensive to repair!

      • Follow up:
        I am very happy with it.
        Confirming I went 'excellent' quality and it had no scratches or marks at all.
        I used AccuBattery to test the battery for ~1 week and the result was 107% (better than factory new condition apparently)
        So as far as I can tell it's pretty much a new and unused device.
        But there must be some luck involved in which device you get.

    I bought a first gen Google Pixel from these guys last week. I was a bit worried about their definition of Excellent condition but it truly was, I can't see a mark on it anywhere.

    • I bought a first gen Google Pixel from these guys last week.

      I followed your lead. Phone is unmarked, but came with no original accessories and no charger. Seems odd for a "refurb: ex-demo or change of mind return", and battery capacity is a bit below their stated 80% minimum, in my test.

      Did you get a charger?

  • Are you guys not concerned about buying used phones that have batteries that cannot be easily replaced?

    • Good thinking but personally no because:
      "Certified Tech Direct tests every battery to ensure that it is above 80% of its original manufactured capacity."
      and
      "30 Days 100% Satisfaction Guarantee"

  • Does anyone know if this is an Australian version or grey import.

  • Thanks mate… Took a chance based on the reviews above.

  • I got an Excellent condition Samsung Galaxy S7 from these guys during the 20% off sale. The price came down to around $270 which I think is very good for a flagship phone (even if it is from 2016).

    The phone arrived yesterday and has very slight cosmetic damage on the edge above the headset speaker but the front screen and rear are flawless, no scratches or marks anywhere else.

    I believe the one I received was an ex-demo model as it still has the factory sticker on the rear with the model and information.

    Have to test it and see if the battery life is good over the next few days as you get a 7 day guarantee with the phones from this company.
