  • price in title please - $$$$$$!

(and they don't bounce as well as the standard type)

  • How much is the spring free trampoline?

Holy cr@p batman. Just saw prices. My kids got a $30 Gumtree special. I sold it for $50 a few years later when the novelty wore off.

  • Friend, $280 to ship a trampoline? What sets it apart from something like https://www.mydeal.com.au/16ft-trampoline--inside-net-design… which includes a net and free shipping to Melbourne (granted its $200 to some states), all prices only $20 higher than the amount "saved" here?

    • This one is springless.

  • Got a springfree from Amazon when they used to sell them a few months back.

Phenomenal trampoline and super high quality.

They are crazy expensive but are the only ones to provide a 10 year warranty.
I got it for my daughter so it was worth the extra cost to get something that will last and that she will be safe in.

However understand the hesistence re cost

    • They are crazy expensive but are the only ones to provide a 10 year warranty.

      Read the fine print
I think apart from the steel structure and the bouncing surface not much is covered eg the net is not. If I remember correctly the tag on the trampoline says that we have to replace the net annually, and not that is not covered by warranty!

If you get the basketball accessory kit it has a 30 day warranty. Also regardless of the size of the trampoline not more than one child is permitted to minimise injury. Which means even if you get a jumbo, your kids should shoot hoops individually.

      • I did read the fine print.
You may be thinking of Vuly

        https://www.springfreetrampoline.com.au/warranty-information
"Our 10 Year warranty on the entire trampoline is standard on every new Springfree Trampoline"

        • Nope Springfree
          Went to the experience centre
There was a tag stitched to the trampoline that said that the netting should be changed annually
          .

Asked the salespeople and they were not aware that such a statement existed. But they did say that if the net was not damaged and you were going to follow Springfree's instructions, then that change is at your expense and not covered under the ten year warranty

          • @docians: Just went outside and checked mine.
Says every 2 years or if damaged. Family friends have had theirs for 8 years and never replaced it. But YMMV

At any rate, the rest is a 10 year warranty (including the net but unsure how that is).

Happy with my purchase, but as i said understand if others wouldnt want to spend that much.

            • @MajorGaz:

Says every 2 years or if damaged

              don't really understand the logic
if Springfree recommends a change in the netting every two years (or earlier if damaged)
and the warranty is for ten years
Should you not get five changes under warranty?

Surely the net will last more than two years, but there must be a reason why Springfree recommends a change even if undamaged.

Happy for OP to clarify (even remember asking OP for a clarification in a previous post, I reckon he does not know/ care)

  • +1

This doesn't seem to include a step?!? Surely you don't have to pay $119 extra just for a step?

Can't you do a special for OzBargainer's like this one that included a step, shifting wheels and a ball? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/318973
