It's absolutely disgusting. Amazon Prime is $54 and has wayyy more benefits.. and even that's barely worth it!

      Beyond greedy.

  • hey, that's pretty good

i have made an error in judgement

        • Haha. Too good to be true huh?

      • Yeah, its 89 for the year which is a bummer. Considering the price though I think it's still pretty decent deal for a 1070ti =D

  • Should i pay $588 or wait for more black friday sales? Membership feels like a rip off…

I think you have already answered your question :)

I'm tempted to buy it since Im afraid the 10 series stock will be cleared soon (There is hardly any stock of the 1080/1080 ti). Plus it comes with monster hunter!

Nvidia is holding huge amounts of stock for the Pascal GPU lineup. Just look at their inventories stats in the latest Quarterly Earnings (4 days ago). In total, it's up almost 100% (from $700mil to $1.4mil), which is a crazy number.

The only reason they aren't releasing them is they know supply vastly exceeds demand, so if they did release them it'll crash both 10 series and 20 series price.

I wouldn't be worried about the 10 series stock, Nvidia themselves have said they expect it to take a few quarters to clear out the inventory, which can be anywhere between 6 months to a year.

Unless you're after a 1080ti, I think those are the only GPUs not overstocked right now.

          • @Adoses: From memory it was mostly 1080's that the manufacturers sent back.
