rm williams are part of lvmh , the biggest luxury brands retailer in the world so not very australian bush anymore for price or marketing, would have though they would give magazine away in their stores as part of marketing and selling the image.

    • most of their subscribers will be business & pollies. Extort money from those you use your brand to align themselves with the bush seems like a smart stategy.

      • Be great to see a pollie in a bush hat that he has owned for many years from before going to Canberra and worn regularly, not just gotten his PR company to buy that morning for a photo shoot.

luckily Akubra still also make city hats for us in the suburbs, not just bush hats, are an Australian owned company, and are made in Australia, and are cheap for what they are (rabbit fur) compared to cheap imports (wool).

Stetson are rabbit fur but cost almost double Akubra… Aussies doing it better and cheaper.
