        Yep, US account and login through the eBay app, but need to make sure that you change the app region to the US also and have the most up to date version!

      Here's the steps for it to work:

      1. Update your eBay phone app to the latest version via the App store for your device. This seems to be key.
      2. Go to the app settings on the left hand side, and change the Country / Region to the U.S
      3. Create / Login to an account registered to the U.S
      4. Add the item you'd like to the cart, if you can't find it in the app, sign into ebay.com on the desktop and follow the previous steps per previous deals (Change .com.au domain to .com and add to cart.
      5. Checkout.

        Change the location to US and add a US address? Or have to create a new account?

        I believe my account was originally made at ebay.com but this didn't work for me yet

    I notice the 10% GST is calculated on the full price not the price after the 15% discount.
    That doesn't seem right - shouldn't the GST be based on what you actually pay.

      It seems GST shows at the cart and payment, but checking on Paypal it did not charge the GST. Could someone else confirm this?
      EDIT: DONT WORRY. Seems like they separate the transaction for GST but it's still charged.

    I just bought the EB Xbox One X deal and it worked for me. Using a US account I created earlier today, made sure the app was up to date and set to US region. Paypal texted me to say the payment had been marked as suspicious and let me authorise it with a reply, so it's all good.

    You can't use the Paypal eBay cards, because it has to be done through eBay US, and the Cashrewards app pops up a message saying it doesn't catch transactions through the eBay app, but oh well.

    Worked great for me!

    To confirm, here was what I did.

    Created a new US account via the desktop site.
    Set my account address as a US one.
    Set my shipping address as a AU one.
    Set my payment as a AU card (28 degrees to avoid conversion fees - note you have to specifially tell it NOT to charge in AUD during checkout)
    Added everything I wanted to my cart. (Saves doing it in the app)
    Downloaded the app from the play store.
    Logged in as the USA account.
    Made my purchases and checked out!

    :Edit: note - i was buying products from USA sellers, not AU ones like some are doing.

    Interesting.. Worked on one account. Had to break it into two orders as it was giving an error when more than 6 different sellers were involved. The other account is set up the same but I am getting an error "this code could not be applied..". Tried on different devices. Wonder if there is a way they can track the code has been used?

          Yep got it working on iOS vs the android app in my comments below;

          The android app would pop up with the verification which would go thru a spastic routine of resizing and jumping up and down on the screen before I could hit the blue link.

          iOS app went through w/o the popup and got a paypal security text.

      Change app location to australia, find your item and open the listing. Change country back to US, go to home and it should appear as your recently viewed items and you can buy your items like that.

    Professorhulk reported it working on iOS

    Switched from android to iOS on 4th attempt and worked.

    iOS did not give me a popup saying to verify paypal which spazzed out (like kept resizing up and down) either.

    Got the paypal authorisation SMS soon after.

    No longer working as of a few minutes ago? I successfully used it earlier this morning, but had to make another new account since eBay wouldn't let me check out multiple items in different currencies in one order (and PICKFAST is single use only). The new account I created lets me apply the code when shipping to a US address, but says it's already been used when shipping to an AU address.

      Still working for me as I just used it. I bought 5 sets of LEGO last night!! This morning I remembered something else I need. Quickly created another US account. I used a different US address and landline but exactly same Australian delivery address and it worked.

    • It only works on the app. Not via web.
    • In the app, go to "settings" and disable the auto country, and pick US.
    • It doesn't work more than once. If you have multiple items in your cart and have different currencies, it'll only work for one currency.
