Was looking at some dates for Honolulu next March when I came up with the cheapest price I have seen for Qantas business class.
$2112 rtn from Sydney. Maybe useful for someone.
Use Google Flights to find cheap dates. Many dates found all throughout year.
747 I believe.
Do you even get a sky bed or is it a qantas business class seat bingo.
I flew to Perth last year in a sky suite thing then way back business I got a larger economy seat with a plastic tray in between seats.

Yeah Qantas business is too much of a gamble.
Often they don't have seat back screens, if you are amongst the last few to be served food you miss out on getting a choice of meal and have to get something vegetarian. I remember booking with my wife and at the last minute being told we couldn't sit next to each other.
I just stick to economy wheneverI need to fly with them now. Not worth the disappointment each time.

Flights alternate with Jetstar code-share, so it goes 747-737-747, would be worthwhile checking when you book.
Skybed 2 I believe. Get on qantas website and have a look at the 747.
I believe they are the 747’s that have been replaced by dream liners, but don’t quote me.
I don't think a 737 could make the range.
I am pretty sure it will be the 747s with fully flat beds (Sky Suite Mark II) in 2-2-2. Good for couples compared to the new seats on the A330s and 787s.

Isn't the flight on a737, I wouldn't class that as business
