So did you read that you could get a Dyson Cord for Free "Dyson V7 Cord Free"?
I read it as Dyson V7 Cord Free $297 Delivered and thought OP was a dumbass and meant it was originally $297 and it is now free except I was the dumbass.
I have already bought a V6 - tempted to return it and get the V7 - It never hurts to have extra V's.
How good are they, can you do your entire house with them alright?
Oh sorry - I have bought the V6 for my wife for Christmas - can return it unopened and get this one.

I can't say for the v7, but I've had the v6 for about 3 years now and still going strong.

Can anyone comment on whether the standard mechanical head will be good to use on hardwood floors? I know there is a specific soft brush head for wooden floors, but thats not included here
