      • Is there a way to request it via email?

        Prefer not to talk.

  • I got the Lebara 360 Day 7GB Medium here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/403362. Can I buy two more 180 day 6GB to stack on it?

    • Hi eldor,
You can stack the vouchers up to 24 months.
Your small plan would take effect only once your MEDIUM360 has expired.
Let us know if you have any questions.

    • Hi @eldor,

Yes you can stack your mobile service up to 24 months.

  • +1

Starter packs must be activated by 30/11/2018.

    errrrrrrrrrrr…

  • +1

In the same boat as a few people, the starter pack has to be activated by the 30th, got 3 plans already on Lebara, looking to add a 4th, but the 7 (well 6 days realistically) is cutting it fine.

"It may take up to 5-7 days to receive a sim"

    • Hey there,

Please feel free to purchase $2 starter pack from Woolworths or Coles to avail the deal.

  • +1

yea, serious can the activation window be increased? I am on TPG right now and was looking to port out, but I am not sure if I can get it done in 5 business days.

  • +1

What physical retail stores can you buy a $2 sim from?

    • +1

I believe coles/woolies should have them besides other shops.

      • Hey there
        That is correct.
You can purchase the starter packs at Coles, Woolworths and 7-Eleven.

  • I have 5 new lebara sim cards ready to go!! but our plans expired last week and yesterday so with the new Kogan deal for existing customers, we decided it was easier to renewfor another year!! arrggh literally just missed out. I don’t really like changing telcos all the time. If you made the deal 1 yr $98 would be more enticing also I had no idea you could stack.

What I hate abt Kogan is no int calls. Wjen we go overseas we can’t use internet banking to pay anyone because they sms code to mobile phone! Apart from that Kigan is good. Even telephone cust service is quick.

So I just registered my son for lebara and ported number. I bought the $49 plan. Can I recharge another $49 immediately to extend to 1year?

    Thanks

    • +1

      Yes

    • Hey sal78,

You sure can stack the SMALL plan for your sons’ mobile service.
If you are unable to use the link provided, please call us on 126122 and we will be able to help you out.

    • You can stack up to 24 months. My Kogan plan also expired 2 days ago and I switched to Lebara, pretty much instant porting & hassle free.

  • I dont understand if I wish to port the number to lebera. the recharge sale end on 26/11, so if I want activate on 30/11 and the sale for $49 is end,how can I recharge?

Can I buy the recharge voucher now and wait unit 30/11 to recharge my new $2 SIM?

    • Yes you can

      • Just too 100% confirm, I can just buy one $2 SIM from anywhere and it will still let me recharge with the current price up to 4 voucher(2 years) on 30/11/2018?

        • -1

Yes. Just take yes for an answer.

        • where they heck can I buy these $49 vouchers on the website?
          Am i missing something…

I'm planning to get a sim tomorrow from coles/woolies, but would like to actually buy the vouchers before I port in otherwise there's not much point porting in.

          • @SeVeN11: Hi @SeVeN11,

The Small $49 plan is available via recharge or the activation page.
Meaning, you can get it if you are activating a new Lebara SIM or recharging your Lebara service.
we do not provide SMALL180 vouchers on the website.

To port in / activate, please use the link below:

    • Hi there.

      You’ve got it right.
Port into Lebara with the small$49 plan (before 30th)
And purchase the small$49 vouchers before 26th midnight.
You can add the vouchers to your mobile service once your porting has completed.

      • if port in my phone by 30/11, can I get 4 x $49 small plan? or only 1 x $49 plan will be allowed?

if it is 1 x $49 , then I would activate today and buy $3 $49 voucher today.

        Thanks

        • You have to activate today. The vouchers aren't vouchers as such, they are an automatic add on to an existing service. ergo, if there is no existing service there can be no "voucher" purchase.

  • Purchased small 180 day plan for $49. Would like to stack another to it but cant seem to add it.Go to recharge for new account ,add $49 to main balance but get error message, "Your current plan is not applicable for main balance recharge".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • Hi bluebagger1,

Please call us on 126122 and we will be able to help you with the stacking request.

  • (An existing customer with plan till Mar 2019) If I buy a M or L 180 day, do i get emailed a recharge voucher I apply to my number(s) through my lebara portal as normal?

  • So I managed to renew through my portal on L 22gb plan but the confirmation says 13gb?!?!?

    • Hi there,

We can look into this for you.
Send us a private message with your mobile details OR call us on 126122.

  • Which retail shop can I buy the $2 simcard from? Do Woolworths or Coles have them? Thanks.

    • +1

      Yes, and 7-11 and AusPost.

  • Looks like a good price for plans for kids

  • Hi,

I am with Kogan mobile and my plan is finishing on 15th December. Is there any way I can avail 6gb for 49 dollars offer (Black Friday) on 15th Dec and stack up for another 1 and ours. I am happy to buy recharge in advance

    • Mate, too the sake of 2 weeks just port over on Nov 30.

      • The problem is if it will not activated on 25th then I will not able buy and stack-up the 3 vouchers

        • Then throw out 20 days of Kogan. Or don't. Whatever.

  • Store rep : your website is super difficult to use
I tried so many times but can’t actvate my sim
    Very frustrating
And customer service close at 6:00pm !
    Wooooo

    • Agree! and telephone is nightmare. still have not spoken to anyone.

Thank god I didn’t port our numbers, only my son’s. Kogan’s customer service is so much better.

If you r thinking of changing from Kogan to Lebara, I highly do not recommend!

  • Lebara customer for 4 years here. Some amazing deals and service is pretty good

But all this time and still NO CALL Waiting. Is it ever coming?

  • Existing customer here. I take it that the expiry period for these recharge vouchers is still 60 days after purchase?

    • No. It just automatically stacks if you're existing.

      • OK, just spoke to a rep. This isn't a usual recharge voucher that you purchase then activate, as it usually is. You recharge straight away and it just stacks. Cheers

        • When I recharged yesterday it didn't give me a voucher number, it just stacked another 6 months on to my end date. Perhaps because it's a non standard black friday deal. Edit : Hey, you changed your comment so now mine looks dumb! But I guess you learned that this is not a Xmas stocking voucher.

          • @Wardaddy: Yes looks like I can only buy my own recharge and not buy for others. Cheers

  • Hello there

I am a potential new customer.

Does this mean if I purchase a 180 plan, activate it, and then purchase another 180 plan, it will stack and therefore I will have 360days total?

    • I still haven't figured this out as I am not a Lebara customer.

I think you have to actually buy the $2 sim from coles/woolies, activate the sim and port your number in.

I suspect, once you complete the 'activation' process you will have a login so that you can buy this deal before tomorrow midnight… Your number port will have until the 30th to port in… (hopefully that's enough else I'm not sure what will happen to your vouchers)

i.e. buy sim, activate, then buy voucher before 26th, then buy more voucher to stack before 26th, then hope your number ports in before 30th… else i'm not sure what happens…

If you know how to purchase this 'voucher' people been talking about before buying a sim and/or activating a sim let me know….

      • Just to give an update
        1) Went to Woolies
        2) Bought $2 Sim card
        3a) Activated it
3b) fill in ported number section
3c)During activation process bought $49 promo small plan. They give you a temporary pin you down. DDMMYY.
        4) Logged into lebara using mobile number of Lebara mobile number provided on $2 Sim card pack. (Not your number you are porting in)
        5) Brought 3 recharge for the $49 promo small plan
        6) Within 15mins, my number from tpg was ported over and it's working now…

Bloody surprised how fast it took!

Only big bear is I have a phone services error message 'SIM not provisioned' on the top menu of my phone

        • +1

big bear? Do you mean bug bear?

    • Hi @dissin,

      That is correct.
Port in/ activate using the link below:( welcome deal ends 30th November)

      https://secure2.lebara-mobile.com.au/activation?_ga=2.224734…

Once you activate, purchase the voucher you are looking for using the link below:( promotion on voucher ends 26th Midnight)

      https://www.lebaraonline.com.au/lebara-mobile/lebara-recharg…

      Hope this answers your question.
Feel free to send us a private message should you require any assistance.

  • Hi OP, Does STD national/international mean that I can call mobiles (national and international) as well as land line numbers?

Which countries can we call on each plan? It's not very clear even on your website.

    Thanks!

  • Hi OP,

I signed up to port my number across but nothing happened and I have also recharged another small plan on top.

Don't I normally receive a sms saying mobile number being transferred?

Can you please assist or advise who to contact?

    Thanks
    SH

    • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/user/154642 is the Lebara rep, and all over this thread..

      • Thanks youshi! I have messaged OP.

        Cheers,
        SH

    • HI there,

we can look into it for you.
please call us on 126122/ 1300 126122 and we would be happy to assist you.

      • Thanks Outthere. I contacted support and they say it's waiting on Aldi Mobile to respond.

  • Hi,I've recharged the Large 6 plan which should be included 22GB data, but i only got 15 GB from the message, tried to call customer service but took too long to reach it.

    • Hi April1234,

Please call us on 126122 and our team would be happy to look into the issue.

  • Hi, how long does the number porting take? I just started the porting now. Will I have enough time to buy another recharging voucher to stack up?

    • hi @porkui,

It takes up to 4 hours to port if the details provided by you match with the details registered with the mobile service.
If you are looking to stack Medium 180 or large 180, you can purchase the voucher online and stack it once the port has been completed.
If you are after Small180, you would have to wait till your mobile service has been ported.

      • Thanks @Outthere!
Impressive, Kogan released my number within 10 mins and another 5 min or so, I am on Lebara network! Going to buy another voucher to stack it up.

One note: when I was with Kogan, the network name is still Vodafone while now it says Lebara even though it also uses Voda (as I read). Hopefully no coverage degradation.

        • Hey mate.

When you logged in the account, was there any mention of the number you were trying to port? The main summary page specifies the Lebara number (not the number I want ported).

At the moment, both the existing number i want to port (Kogan) and new number (Lebara) are working…

It's been like 4 hours since I activated so I'm kinda nervous, as I initially wanted to stack 24 months on.

          Thanks in advance.

          • @currentfad: It showed the new number before Kogan released my number, then it showed my number. I was worrying about the same thing too. Did you tick the port number option, btw?

The good thing about Lebara is that you can get the recharge any time there is a good promo. So even if your porting is not done tonight, just watch out for new deals for the next 6 months. I am sure you will get plenty, according to the promotions they had in the past. That's why I stacked my to 12 months only.

            Good luck.

            • @porkhui: Thank you. I definitely ticked the port number option and selected "pre-paid" rather than "post-paid".

Appreciate the quick response and information - guess I will stick to the 180days I have for the time being and see how it goes! Fingers crossed.

              Thanks again!

  • I can’t find the PayPal payment option for purchasing the 180 Day Plans !

    • I don't recall it being an option.

  • Hi there, i am on a small plan and have a medium voucher as well. Will these stack? Ie use up the small plan first (12 months) and then roll onto the medium?

    • hey there,

Yes you can stack the long term vouchers.

      • How long does porting take? I am porting from Kogan to Lebara and its been more than 12 hours. My old service stopped working several hours ago.

  • cant even load the black friday deal.. ?

  • Website's down?

    • last minute ozbargainers flooding the website

      • Looks like it. It seems to back up again.

  • Hi, is there a Lebara mobile app I can use to manage my number instead of going to the web portal?

  • Hi Rep, the 6GB plan isn't even listed on the site at all as a purchasable item :(

Just bought a sim and 2 x 22GB recharges but i can't buy any 6GB small 180 Day (need two) as they are not existent on the site. Am i missing something, been looking for an hour now. Here is a screenshot https://www.dropbox.com/s/dty55bgddqhr0df/wtf%20lebara.jpg?d… any chance of some goodwill?

  • Rep is there a porting outage? Has been over 24 hours since i initiated a port - Kogan to Lebara. Both services are dead. I was told there was a carrier outage on porting??

    • I rang Lebara last night - phone CS rep did say there was an outage. Like most OzB'ers here, I waited to the last minute to port over, when the deal was about to expire on Monday night. Still waiting for port to go through, though my existing service is still working, no no big deal to me.

    • Hi there,
We hope that your port has been completed successfully.
If not, please send us your mobile details via private message and we will escalate it to our tech team.

      • Thanks Rep. Port went through. Great support from you. Thank you.
