Harvey Norman (or Sony) may wanna title it correctly, 2.1.2…. Oh wait it's 2.1 so it's not Atmos…. Nice and lovely false advertising….

    • Psychoacoustics have tried it at the showroom it sort of works

      • Weren't sponsored were they??

    • Virtual Atmos

      • They may wanna state that, like virtual surround headphones should.

$479 at JB. Picked one up today, nice unit. Also discovered that JB email you a copy of your receipt - if you upload it to your JB online account then they give you a $10 credit.

    • I didnt notice, i had one of those $10 credit sitting on my phone from the google mini deal

  • I have one and it is shit. I do not recommend it at all. I have a samsung n950 and it rips. This Sony piece of rubbish is just that, rubbish.

How so? I’m trying to decide on a sound bar and would love to know your thoughts…

    • 2 to 3 times the price. I'd hope so.

Could have gotten some Bookshelf speakers that'd rip yours too for much less…

    • I had the z9f and then got a n950…
I would have to disagree with n950
I reckon the user experience sucks
Even though the hardware is good and loud

  • The volume control between ads and different movie types is terrible. There are times where you have to ramp the volume up so high that if you happen to switch stations you wake the hole neighbourhood. The clarity is poor and the depth of sound is terrible. If anyone thinks the n950 is worse than good luck to you but in my opinion the Sony sucks balls.
