Cheapest yet. The description says upgraded to Bluetooth 5 which I'm not sure as in previous deals it was 4.2

  • For the price they sound fantastic. I’ve found wireless Bluetooth earbuds to be so bulky and awkward looking. The only aesthetically pleasing ones that I can tolerate are rowkins and phazons (not yet on the market). But may give these a shot…They’re also 5.0.

actually just realised the QCY has the invisible mini model, not bad.

  • Is this better then the QCY Q29? Cheers

    • I find them better in terms of the buttons - q29's i would need to hold the earbud and press the button otherwise it hurt my ear.

T1s are a like sensor button or whatever you call them and you just put your finger on it.

Also charging case is better has magnetic catch which is good

I can confirm that these are Bluetooth 4.2, not 5.0. and yes you get a lot of drop outs, at least 1 drop out every 20 seconds. and no there not firmware updatable. Avoid.

It says Bluetooth 5.0 everywhere in the description. Sure these aren’t a newer model?

      • +1

Old chip in it, no way it's Bluetooth 5

    • WiFi and walls contribute to dropouts.

Without those two in play, I get no dropouts on my Meizu Pop

      • Drops out every 5s when phone is in my pocket.

I have a pair of these too, and what I've found is the dropouts are related to the orientation of the phone. I have a motorolla g5 plus, and I can have the phone 5m away and the music still plays no problems. But if its in my pocket, and I bend down to tie my shoe.. dead air. My theory is that theres some sort of directional aspect to the antennas, and that these don't cache more than a second or two of audio.

If you keep the phone in a fixed position, say in a breast pocket, I don't get any issues with dropouts

get bluetooth 5.0 earbuds/phones if you are in the market to buy. better battery life & better connectivity.

    • +1

agree. anything not 5.0, just avoid even if they are cheap/good brand.

like the bose sound free for example. $250 for BT 4.2 only? you are dreaming, Bose.

  • from the qcy site, seems its 5.0 bluetooth http://qcy.com/product/93.html

At 2.5hrs music / talk time, thats a tat bit short though. airdots are 4hrs i believe though more expensive than these

  • Got a single earphone QCY one (can't recall the model) for listening to podcasts when walking the dog.
Absolutely shocking drop-outs make them unusable if you move your head. Don't take the risk, folks.
