Pretty good price for a Gtx 1060 6GB. I think Evga have good warranty as well.

Don't forget to use cashrewards (final price after cashback $283.6) or shopback (277.4) for cashback.

  • Indeed pretty good price for this EVGA 6GB GTX 1060, which has proper heatsink for cooling (not the anaemic "radial" type).

Pretty awesome warranty from EVGA, https://www.evga.com/warranty/graphics-cards/
While it may need to be sent back to US for warranty needs, but it is transferable, so it may help resell later on.

    • Yeah this is a really solid single-fan card, which is apparently very quiet. Benefit of the power requirements for the 1060, I suppose.

Pretty sure this wound up getting that thermal pad mod for the VRM and VRAM, so it's a very sturdy card.

With a final price like that I could not refuse to treat myself as a 1080p gamer. I haven't had an EVGA card for a long time but their international warranty swayed me, hopefully I never have to use it as I don't plan on overclocking. Will be upgrading from a 960GTX 2GB card which has been a great card (freebie) but lacks the vram for games like GTA 5 etc which want to push around 2.5GB-3GB textures.

  • After seeing this deal ($199), I still dream/hope to see a similar deal.

IKR, but it was oos within minutes :) better be lucky to grab next time.

    • I thought similar and decided to bite the bullet as my fingers aren't on the OZB pulse that tightly I'm likely to miss it and the $283 price tag and having it for Xmas/Jan break is valuable to me :)

In respect to 2060. I don't feel like waiting another 6m+ to be at reasonable prices as I like the $300-400 sweet spot for my video cards. I can't justify the $500+ let alone 1k+ monsters.

  • How has there not been a refresh for these cards yet ?

They are almost 3 years old?

    • 2060 is coming soon. There have been a few leaks.
