Is this going to be another waste of time sale? Any games going to be on clearance? (i.e. $5-$20 each).

  • -Up to 60% off rugs

awesome… do they come with sideburns ???

  • 11% ipad 1? Seriously? Typical Hardly Normal fake sale.
Can you post some actual final price after discount? I would love to be proven wrong…

  • Are the discounts off Harvey Normal prices or market price?

    • RRPs is the most likely

    • Isn't 50% off the Harvey Norman price just known as "normal price"?
It's like Officeworks having a 0% off sale

RRP is the most likely, but Harvey Norman known to inflate their price above RRP, even when there is no sale. There is a reason they are called Hardly Normal. Even their boss are, literally, hardly normal…

  • Be careful with % off sales at Harvey Norman. Yes, they are inflated prices. No, you are not getting 40% off the street price. The recommended retails that Gerry Harvey uses are old prices from 12 months ago. Most electronic products have a street price that is less than 50% of the price, that they sold for 12 months ago. The outdoor furniture will be all the over priced rubbish that has not sold.

Although Gerry sings a merry dance about Australian made furniture, you will find most of his furniture is cheap rubbish Made in China. I suggest wait for his going out of business sale. Yes, I am not a Gerry fan.

    • Yup, very true indeed. And sadly, we are absolutely correct. Even the rep posted here wouldn't dare to reply our comment and post actual prices, the one so called bargain…

Even Sony rep (Melbourne Sony Store, if I remember) willing to post actual prices after discount here in OZBargain, so people can check and be sure that the price is indeed reflect bargain prices or not.

i'll be honest here; i know retailers have been having a hard time and crying poor but Gerry Harvey never lets something like a recession/global financial crisis get in the way of stretching the truth on his 'normal' prices before % off discounts!

  • lame… really. put some example prices y0!
