OZBARGAIN12

Danilo from ShoppingSquare just messaged me their OzBargain Birthday Celebration sale. It comes in 2…

Note that these are available for 24 hours only, and cannot be combined with coupon code, i.e. can't use OZBARGAIN12 together with those 12 items.

Thanks to Danilo for the deals over the years, first deal from more than 11 years ago on 2GB Kingston DDR2 RAM.

Thanks OP. I’m trying to buy via your ebay shop and the price of the samsung sd card 256 doesn’t seem to have been updated. Great prices though. Well done!

It doesn't mention eBay anywhere and the links point to their website.

Also Scotty is owner of OzBargain, not Shopping Square. He doesn’t have control over the prices.

Not sure why this post got negged. Was a genuine query!

      • Stress from black Friday. You made a mistake thinking it is their ebay shop, not their website.

  • first 2 items are okay borderline so-so then getting worst and worst…

$39 for a 10K Xiaomi powerbank is taking the piss. But it's a good price at $19.

  • I guess they got fined for the insane "RRP" BS they were running. Now they just have a crossed over price without the "RRP" infront of it.

Like the Samsung EVO Plus 256GB $299

    • probably RRP at year 2016. they didnt say the year so we cant blame them…. smart seller. we just need to be smarter buyer thats all

    • Now they just have a crossed over price without the "RRP" infront of it.

The number part of the RRP scam is what causes the anchoring effect to work so they've done nothing.

Increditable? I guess they're going for credit to OzBargain for incredible deals?

    • +2

Not a new word. The moderators did discover that TopBuy.com.au has also posted an increditable deal back in 2009. Too bad they got merged with DealsDirect, then with Gray and now in the hands of OZSALE, whereas ShoppingSquare is still hanging there.

    • Deals that require lots of edits from mods perhaps?

      • If they actually meant increditable, then they saying that they're not giving credit at all. So, no credit to OzBargain for giving them business in the last 11+ years.

So, I figured it was a play on words, and they meant the opposite. That, or I'm ignorant.. ;)

          are they selling incredible tables?

  • Nice.

What are anti-radiation smart chips? Are they only useful in a fallout scenario?

Do you think cancers are on the increase from organic/non pesticide sprayed foods?????

    • +5

They are snake-oil products, good fashion accessories for tin-foil hats.

Such a dodgy company…. I placed an order on 11/11 "Free shipping Aus Wide" when paying by CC, and they charged for shipping, when I complained about the false advertising they cancelled the order and claimed they'd refund my credit card,… Here we are 17 days later and I'm still waiting for a refund….

Pay by Paypal, it's a lot easier to get your money back

unless youre new to OZbargain. SHopping square has the worst track record for shipping
also usually any deals they have, a better competitor comes along shortly after with similar or better pricing and reliable shipping

unfortunately this mob is linked to the majority of fake australian sellers on ebay with 100x different seller accounts

      • Thanks @furythree. I was about to buy the 256GB SD card from shopping square. But after reading your comment, I think I might wait

      • +2

Yeh, I stopped using them years ago but I was stupid enough to try them again… I found out the hard way how bad they are now, borderline criminal…

      • +3

Yes, a quick search shows Shopping Square and their related companies have a terrible reputation here and on Whirlpool.

    • +3

Agree, the most doggiest company- non delivery and still no Refund after 30 days!!

  • Is the Cree Flashlight any good?
Based on the fact that it uses only a single AAA, its not going to be very bright?

  • Really don't like the anti-radiation chips, these fake fxxks are just a ripoff

    • How are they different to non-fake ones?

      • Well, FYI, all anti-radiation chips are a scam

        • ahh - I thought you were suggesting these were 'fake' anti-radiation chips, rather than the real ones, that are also fake.

  • Any thoughts on those headphones? Thinking I might give it a whirl, I just want something to listen to podcasts on my walk to and from work each day.

  • http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_430046_4_in_1_Type_C_to_4… for $22.84 + shipping if anyone is interested. supports Samsung Dex and PD charging

I respect the way you've admitted to the price hikes openly. For example, the iPads have the RRP crossed out and the higher price added. E.g. Apple iPad 9.7 128 GB WiFi Tablet: $599.00 $626.95

  • Original Xiaomi 10000mAh Power Bank 2 Dual USB Quick Charge 2.0 Portable Charger for Mobile Phone Silver Colour AU Stock for $19.95
But add to cart it comes out $28 plus $5 postage any idea?

    • I get the same. I can't be bothered to wait (for them to fix it?), I'm just going to get it from Shopro from the other post.

    Something dodgy with coupon.

    OLED Smart Watch (Black)

    Without coupon: $45.86 + $1 shipping = $46.86
    With coupon: $44.84 + $2.95 shipping = $47.79

How does a 12% discount make the item more expensive? It inflates the base price and the shipping price before taking the 12% off. :(

    • Yep, that's normal with these guys..
