Yes to unlocking Telstra Pre Paid phones with Telstra Pre Paid credit.

No. Port out to another provider then port back in. I did Voda - Optus - Voda. All done in a space of 20 mins. Make sure to port out to a different provider.

Heads up. There’s an issue with many Boost SIMs from supermarkets where you can’t get 4G and reception drops continually. I’d just buy direct from Boost.

    • Doesn't look like you can get the $50 SK from Boost.

Then do what I did I guess. Activate the faulty sim, order a blank replacement for free from them.

        • is boost customer able to port to telstra starter kit( as new customer)?

  • +1

Don't think they're speed capped. Speed test in the Perth CBD the other day @ 350mbit

  • $40 Voda kit for $12 is good, assuming it can still be activated on the 365-day plan.

Good for kids making occasional calls, and data packs when on holiday.

    • was wondering the same, not sure if we can.

  • hey hey. the boost one came as someone said it would. wonderful

  • Thanks for this

    • You're welcome.
