Just a heads up mixed reality doesn't mean AR

Will this work with Beat Saber and VRChat?

The only 2 things I care about in this.

Also, can they fit over Glasses?

  • The superior Samsung Odyssee was $480 (may still be) at BHPhoto.

But I think the Oculus Rift is the better buy for the same money having owned both.

You can find used Lenovo/HP/Dell headsets for $275-315 on Ebay/Gumtree and new unit's for not much more. The Acer is the cheapest feeling of the lot. I would highly recommend the Lenovo for comfort or Dell for build quality over the Acer.

The Oculus is priced well during the sale and has better controllers but you'd need to buy 1-2 extra sensors to do roomscale experiences, unlike the WMR headsets which do it out of the box. WMR is also way easier to set up. Would 100% recommend WMR over Rift unless there are Rift exclusives that you really want.

  • You can find these for cheap on gumtree/eBay. I paid $250 for one. I wouldn't pay more than $300, otherwise you are better off buying a rift.

  • Pros of this over rift:
    Easy to setup
Can still play vr games designed for other platforms
    No extra sensors
    Higher resolution

Price sounds like a rip off tbh… I wouldn't pay more than $300 for it. (Thankfully I got it free with the laptop I bought)
