Dirt cheap, but… please don't spend $3 on a pillow. Your neck, back, and shoulders will thank you for it.

I agree with your sentiment. I bought a similar twin-pack of Tontine pillows some months ago from Woolworths at half price. They looked pretty good in store and my old one was getting flat. But they turned out to be pretty poor; lack of support despite being ‘medium’ and the filling inside would clump to the sides as opposed to being evenly distributed.

Luckily there were spare guest pillows that weren’t being used and they really made me realise the importance of a good quality pillow. For those who are interested in the more traditional pillows (c.f. latex/memory foam), I would recommenced Aussie Pillows; they’re not too expensive and I got them at half price (maybe around $10 each) from Harvey Norman around Christmas time. They offer good support, the filling inside evenly distributes upon resting and they’ve only just gone ‘flat’ after 18-24 months, which isn’t too bad

      • Best to sleep without a pillow.

        • Best to sleep with one eye open gripping your pillow tight.

Agree about Tontine pillows. Just tried some again….. they say High and Firm on them. They are high until you actually put any weight on them whereupon they collapse to about 1" thick.

  • A better option: 2 for $10 (save $14) Tontine Anti-bacterial Pillows:
