  • Is there a reason why you guys still only have the one type?

    • +1

      It's been asked before…

      • +2

Legit thought you were linking the answer….so close to giving you a "thanks JV". So close…

      • Most of the other types have really odd sizes for shipping, so the cost of shipping would be almost more than the cost of the product. We are looking at a few different ones in the new year.

Can they be used to generate electricity and therefore qualify for a rebate?

    • +1

I can't see why not. Now to find this renewable rebate…

Give Dan Andrews a call, I'm sure he can find a few million to throw at you.

  • Thanks. Perfect for my Secret Santa.

    • No worries, thanks for the purchase!

  • gave it a shot but no free shipping, comes up @ $15.00 for qld??

    • The $15 comes off in the $45 off. The site only allows one discount (shipping or $$)

        and so polite.
I may even upvote this pointless product.

(That's a joke, for the humorless)
I endorse this pretty thing ,
        unless it breaks.

  • Nice one. Ordered.

  • Just tried, $50 to SA, almost ordered. Sad.

    • It is free shipping to SA as well. This is a bigly discount. Massive.

Hmm tempted to get this for my dad for Christmas, I dunno why but the extra $15 to WA just kills this deal for me in my mind :-(

And you want to be my latex salesman?

Would like to know what they are made from and their durability before deciding on purchase - metals, plastics? Is the surface going to last at least 5 years out in the elements? Is it light-fast, rustproof, won't warp from the sun, etc?

The only description I could find on the website is made from "garden friendly materials".

Hi OP - keen on a bit more info on these. I've seen your various posts on here and you seem to be Brisbane based which is nice. Are they locally made? They seem to be metal from the videos on your page?

This is from a recent deal:

I have 2 of these from a recent sale the seller had.
Packaging and shipping times were good.

They are dead easy to assemble they come with everything you need.

The segmented pole is a little flimsy, so it can sway or wobble in strong winds, but I personally don't think it's a big deal.
I'm in the country and get some pretty strong wind out here and they spin like crazy and cope well with the excessive speed.

They have a second spike at the bottom that curves out from the stand and the weld was pretty average on one of mine and it snapped off yesterday, when I tried to reseat the sculpture in a new area of grass.
Other than that, no problems and I think they are great value at this price bracket.

Always get comments from people about them and have passed on the details to a few now.

  • OP, What are these made from? and what does 'garden friendly materials' mean?

  • can you add paypal as the method of payment? cheers

  • Anyone else getting a poor communication or slow shipping experience?
I ordered on Sunday night and got the automated order confirmation advising a further notification email when it ships.
So far, 3 working days later, no email advising shipping. I send an email Tuesday night asking for shipping ETA, and as of now (Wednesday night) have not received a response.

    • Ordered on Sunday, and was delivered on Thursday.

Haven’t opened the boxes, but no complaints from me
