      That's funny, my calculator says $29/48 cans = 60.4c/can, rounded down = 60c/can (as posted in deal)..

      That will make it 50c/can with recycle cashback!

        SA/NT buyers (from past experience) just pay more for the slab that exactly equals the 10c per can refund.

        so in a way, you're paying the salary of the can collector that goes through your bins at night.

      Yep the refund has just come in in QLD and I’ve already noticed drink prices have increased quite significantly. Crazy that the only way to recover the money is to save up the cans/bottles and drive them to a recycling depot somewhere, when previously all you had to do was throw them in the recycling bin. Just a tax by stealth to increase the revenues of the QLD Government.

        I prefer the good stuff - Real sugar… Not a fan of artificial sweeteners eg. Aspartame.

          @Bunsen: I used to. I change to zero sometime after I know it doesn't leave a sour taste like original one.

            @chewchew: The sour taste might be because it's past it's best before date. Anything with artificial sweeteners starts to change taste quite quickly after the best before has past.
