TechFast RTX 2080 PC Q/A (Review/ Complaint?)

Solved: Rep got back to me and happily sent me replacement parts for the psu and case.

So I bought this pc on the 15/11/18 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/416590) And I have just received it yesterday. I am writing this forum in regards to others who have also purchase or have received their PC, on regards to the quality of the pc. My PC came in dented, missing screws, gpu bent/ falling out and was not even connected propperly on the 6 pin and pcie bracket. I replaced the psu as it was absolute garbage, Blew up while i was stress testing the psu.

Here are the pictures I took of the PC for reference (https://imgur.com/a/vayXR0T)

PC Parts

CPU: Ryzen 2600

MB: Asrock A320M-HDV

Ram: Team Group 1x8gb ddr4 2400mhz

GPU: Galax RTX 2080 8gb EX-1 OC One click (http://www.galax.com/en/graphics-card/20-series/galax-geforc…)

PSU: Allied generic 550w (Absolute garbage, blew up in other test rig powering a hd7970, imagaine running a rtx 2080 on this!)

SSD: Allied 120gb (Generic, will post up some benchmarks later)

Case: Tech Fast tempered glass rgb gamer case (Missing 2 of the tempered glass screws and dent on top), Also as a 240mm magnetic fan filter on top which is a plus

Items may vary depending on stock, these are the parts i got, so assume what i say as a reference only.

I will be adding more information to this post after I run a few more benchmarks, but i am more curious to see what others got and are currently running

Edit: I essentially took the cpu and gpu out of the systen and placed it in my main rig, I have replaced it with a ryzen 1600 and a hd 7970 (undervolted).

The system works fine now, managed to overclock the 2600 on my main system to 4ghz at 1.3v to 1.35v

Gpu is overclocked to 2ghz on the core and 7650 on the memory sustainable.

Havnt got out to testing the ssd. Will do so afternoon.

Psu is garbage, throw it out, blew up while stress testing the other rig, (undervolted Hd 7970, thankfully didnt take any other components away with it) Woldnt want to run a rtx 2080 on this.

I did send them a ebay message yesterday, but you guys are right, definitely should of contacted the rep here, will do.

I was not sure of it was damaged in shipping, the box showed no signs of any damage and the pc was packaged pretty well, looks like it was dropped when it was in the building period.

Otherwise, fantastic value, definitely will buy again, support is good too (through ozbargain) will probably just buy in parts next time though.

If you guys want to request and questions on the pc I will do my best to answer them, still testing out the pc though, and dam eveything looks nice :)

          • @Bargain4Days: Nice, sounds pretty solid besides the psu. I’m hoping to get the 3600 2080 build pretty soon, and eventually move it into a different case. Cheers for your replies on the last few :).
