  • good price if they have stocks

The dump bin was full so they should have enough stock to last a little while.

But broden may have taken them all….

        • +3

Are you referring to the time someone posted a deal for a shop that only had 5 left, and then at the end of the post said that he took all of them?

        • haha lol really?!

        • That's bloody hilarious.

      • Sort of. Toys R Us were selling PS3s for $199 and he boasted he bought 10 when someone found out he'd only bought one cause they checked his posting history LOL

"Most negative votes on a comment: Has been awarded to Broden with 201 negative votes for his comment here for boasting about 10 PS3s that he bought for $199, and selling then for $380. It was then found by user jiakz that he only bought one PS3, which he then admitted to. "

          That's just a phallusy! ;)

  • This is cheap bought a sandisk one from ebay for 24 dollars recently.

  • Anyone comment on speed of these? Don't need anything super-fast, but certainly don't want a dodgy one…

    • +3

      Faster than sandisk cruzer

  • they were sold out at my HN. got 8gb ones for $9

  • man , the prices of these lil' buggers are constantly falling. i have 4gb but am tempted to get some larger capacity storage space at this price.

  • +1

Yes had one. Good speed as well compared to lexar or sandisk cruzer 16G (for similar price)

    • When you say good, what kind of speeds do you get?

      • Read 29 MB/s and write 12MB/s (using crystaldiskMark)

        • how does that compare?

        • it compares pretty well for a flash drive. the cheaper ones cap at writing at 7MB/s, the better ones at 18MB/s. hard drives generally go at 24MB/s

        • Lexar16G Read 17MB/s and write 4MB/s (almost 3 times slower for writing)
          which is that one: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/36912

        • wow that's awesome!

        • Is anyone able to verify these read / write speeds (29MB/s and 12MB/s) on the PA3875A-1MAB (the model number is for the 16GB and is from sjp770 attached receipt below).

Been searching the Toshiba website for info on the lock software that comes with these drives and separately found "Write Speed: up to 3.9 MBytes/s and Read Speed: up to 17 MBytes/s"

  • Just got one, have been looking at getting a USB for ages, just couldn't say no to this one. Thanks!

  • Shit!, was in knox 2days ago, pretty good deal

  • Nice, I'm going to check the local HN this week.

  • Is it just Knox, or is it in all HN stores?

  • Just got a price match at HN Young, NSW. Showed them the uploaded pic, they did it straight away.

    • Original price was $59.95 btw, still ticketed as such. Price lookup said $24. It definitely pays to ask "How much can you do this for?" imagine taking it off the shelf and paying the ticketed price, there are some people who would. Not that they would be reading this…

  • Saw heaps at Knox but didn't bother to buy any. I have plenty of 4Gb sticks. Price was $19 last Xmas. I would have bought one if they were USB 3.0.

  • I have just been to Harvey norman knox they said $16 was misprint showed me catalogue $24 would not sell any less very disappointed

    • Thats a little dodgy considering me and a mate just bought two from CBD store after price matching Knox!

    • I might try to find the reciept from my match, not sure if it had the fact it was price matched on it. It might help.

    • Yeah I should have read this before going… They wouldn't budge on $24. Even when I showed them sjp770's receipt. Damnit.
