Been using this everyday for a few months now, great product.

    • +2

Read comments in other deals that it is good - bought a year ago & now a believer👍

I love mine so much. It's great for oiling a pan before you fry something. :)

    • Could I know if you washed it before you first used it as recommended in the instructions due to chemicals?

I washed mine but it seems to be taking awhile to dry since there's 2 layers of plastics and water is trapped in between the layers.

      • +2

Not sure if it's related but the instructions specified to not submerge it underwater

Could not spray olive oil well, half of the oil ran down the bottle. Disappointed and refunded.

    • +2

You get some dodgy ones, in our experience alvian. I think the problem occurs when the unit doesn't seal airtight. We had the same experience with one of the two we bought in the last deal, so we swapped that one for another.

We now have two we use all the time and we find them reliable, easy to use/refill and simply awesome!

    • +3

We had one too, it was garbage…

    • +1

Been using this for olive oil with no issues.

    • +1

Bought mine last year, took quite a few pumps before it started spraying oil. It's been going good since then =)

    • +2

Mine's turd too. I bought it months ago but have only touched it twice. Is it too late for a refund lol

      • +1

Buy again and return the old one with new receipt?

        • No I don't want another one.

    • The first one I got didn't spray at all. But later got another and that is going very well. Try to get it swapped.

    • -1

That was my experience too. I got an exchange. Same problem with the new one. Oil always ran down over my fingers.

I bought a more expensive glass one from howards storage world (pressure pump rather than trigger spray) I think it was about $30. Well worth it. Works perfectly all the time, fine even spray and glass instead of plastic.

Not going to neg the deal as half price is a bargain, but not all bargains are good.

I have two of these, one for cooking oil and one to spray my hair with Jojoba oil.

    • +19

And judging from your profile pic they're both doing a fine job ;)

      • +3

Jojoba oil is good for scabs :)

    • my hairdresser uses these too. where do you get the jojoba oil from?

      • +1

        From here.

I buy the 1L pump pack for $69 delivered.

        Good quality golden Aussie jojoba.

        • I wouldn't have picked you as a jojoba user!

          • +1

@ash2000: Makes my skin and hair baby soft, check my pic.

  • +3

Problem is they are not easily available :( tried few stores last time. Specifically drove to buy this only. Will try again this evening

    • Colac never honors this special.

    • Yeah I've only seen at 1 out of about 5 Woolworths in my area…

  • Is it worth it?

    • +3

      It is woolworth it.

  • I bought one of these a year ago on sale.
I think it was worthwhile, works well, no complaints.

  • I love mine bought previously at 1/2 price

  • how about macadamia oil?

  • I tried to buy this once, couldn't find it. Where do they stash it?

    • Kitchenware. If you download the app, you can get the aisle number once your nearest store set.

  • Tried to grab one in-store once out of the many many times peeps have posted this deal, only for the check out lady to say nope, thats an online price only.

  • Bought one of these and use it with grape seed oil. It's great

  • Mine can't spray properly when the nozzle face downwards, has to be horizontal.

    • +1

Prolly why that dude was killed on North Sentinel Island.

  • I use these for car detailing sprays that I mix up where a fine mist is needed and they work well!

  • Doesn't work with coconut oil :(

    • +4

      Lol, nor butter

      • +9

        Doesn’t work with Nutella.

        • +1

          Or peanut butter

  • +2

    What's next, spray on cheese?

    • Yeh, I bought two last time one for oil, the other for soy sauce, works really well. Would like another for vinegar to use on salads

      • Can imagine a 45 year old single fat guy whos living in his mom's basement spraying this into his mouth while playing WoW,

      • One word: 'Murica!

    • +2

lol obviously you haven't visited the US OF A before ..hehehe

  • It is quite annoying to do a refill as the soft plastic linen collapses and the volume capacity is reduced. I have to blow air into that "lung" to bring back full capacity. My lips can become oily when I do that.

    • I've never found a way around blowing into it to reinflate it. Doesn't seem very hygienic but we haven't died yet happily.

      • You mean you do the same, littleannie?

        • yep, haven't worked out another way so I decided to be zen about it.

          • +2

@littleannie: I use two chopsticks to poke the inner bag back into shape - works pretty well and no mess!

          • +2

@littleannie: Why would it not expand on its own when you pour the oil into it?

    • Nice Michael, you're a life saver!
When it's my birthday and the Mrs has the dries there will be no more excuses.

    • Had to suck air out of the bottom to refill.

  • -2

    Is it worth it???

    • OFC

  • I miss out on these. Every. Single. Time. So frustrating!

    • Got one today! There were only 4 left at my local Woolies.

  • bought one, very nice until my dog chewed it. Good timing.

  • -3

Like others have said, the internal bag collapses. After a couple of years, they are utterly useless. Then they to into land fill and into our oceans. Would I buy again? No.

    • How difficult is to blow in air when you refill?
Cover the edge with a paper towel while blowing in, if you don't want your lips to be oily.

    • +3

I think you need a new Woolies.

      • -1

Woolies in Colac needs new management.

        • +4

Colac is big enough to have a Woolies?? You sure it still doesn’t have the "Safeway" logo out the front from the 70's?

"Breaking news, this just in. Small country town in the middle of nowhere, Colac, was rocked today to realise that their Woolworths doesn’t stock every single item that a major, metropolitan store does… More news on this at 6."

          • +1

            @pegaxs: I'll set my alarm for 5:58.

          • -2

@pegaxs: Worked for both Coles and Woolworths in Melbourne.

Colac services a large area and both stores are BIG.

I live 38 Km away and am retired.

Woolworths are useless,eg specials on tress tomatoes,Vaalia yoghurt in natural, etc.

            Simply a waste of time.

Source most groceries from Aldi. The rest from Coles. Also online.

Known some of the Safeway/Woolworths employees in Colac for over 25 years and remain on good terms with ex employees.
            Management are useless.
            Staff have lost the plot.

Thanks to the nine morons that neg'd my previous comment.

    • +3

      As usual,no luck at Colac

That pretty much sums up Colac.

      • -1

        ROFL.

Nice place to visit for a couple of hours, then get the Hell out.
