    • sorry, I screwed up linking wrong product - correct product link

  • Are there some instructions if it fails to open? :)

    • +3

      Bolt cutters.

      • I doubt you'd have to try that hard.
Hammer will probably do the job in a few seconds.

Would I trust the security on a $11 electronic padlock (no name brand)?

But probably will still end up buying one just because it's cool….

    • Would I trust the security on a $11 electronic padlock

Well, at least it isn't connected to the internet so everybody on the internet can have a go at unlocking it. You know, like "smart" locks and "smart" security cameras.

  • Showing USD19.99 to me. Do you have a discount code, OP?

    • same here

    • linked wrong store - use this link

      • Product looks completely different

This one would be ok for maybe locking chickens in

  • Looks like deal has expired

  • Looks like you need to recharge every month if you dont use it, earlier if you using it often

  • 4 digit password limited to 1,2,3,4 …. so 24 combinations before it unlocks?

    • +2

      256 you mean?

      • nope literally only has numbers 1,2,3,4

        • So no duplicates? Eg. 1111?

  • Most of these Bluetooth/Fingerprint locks use very similar insecure design, it'll take you longer to pair it than to open with a piece of scrap metal

    • Not associated to this lock

  • This isn't very secure and so are most bike locks unless you use two quality U locks.
I might get this anyway as I leave my bike at work in a low risk area and my bikes a cheapie
