How much more do I need to spend to make it $49?

      -$2,110.20

  • Futu's eBay store has had the spec for the same price for a number of days with "PRIZER" code..

This would be perfect had it come with the HDR Display

I love my X1 Carbon. Way more than my Lenovo Yoga 920, my old HP Spectre X360 and even my old Dell XPS 13.

    • How is the audio ? Seems the X1 Carbon is perfect other then poor speakers (according to reviews). My eye is on the Yoga C930 as it's speakers are on par or better then the notorious Macbook pro

      • Yeah the speakers are terrible. But I always use my wireless earphones with it anyway.

    • Can you do entry level gaming with it?

        lol

        Plays Solitaire fine

        • Minesweeper?

      • I played through the Mass Effect trilogy on my similarly specced X1 Yoga, and I’ve played plenty of Civ V. It (mostly) kept up just fine. Just keep to older games and you’ll be fine.

    • OMG, I am looking for one of your 4 laps: X1 carbon, Yoga 920,Spectre X360 and XPS 13.
But my budget is only 1000 bucks. I dont mind to buy an older generation, or factory refurbished. Could you please give an advice on the point of "saving" :D

      Thanks mate.

The Yoga and X360 look great but are quite unwieldy. Their footprints are quite big but they are heavier than expected and the kids don't pass the open with one hand test. The XPS 13 has a smaller footprint and feels a lot lighter even though it's not. The X1 Carbon is much lighter and feels much lighter. It is also easier to grip when walking around with it. I'm over the looks and think practicality is more important now. Plus the X1 has the best keyboard.

        • Good review mate :)
          I will look around for a X1 carbon G5 :)

  • Thank you op, good find.
Wondering if any chance with TRS return?

    • sure
you need to print the invoice by yourself

      • thanks mate.

  • Good price bought 10 for my company

Would be better if it was the 500nits model

    • 300 nits is the same brightness reviews are complaining about in the new MBA. Otherwise I would think this is a great buy.

    Great ultrabook!

    On a side note:

I just purchased a refurb from grays online ebay for this model + HDR screen for $1799 -20% off discount.

So far it's been an amazing machine and it looked brand new.

If you don't mind dealing with greysonline, it's worth keeping an eye out for a good deal as they have been listing a few x1 gen6 lately.

    • Hi mate,

I am also watching a Lenovo Yoga 920 refurbished on Greyonline. But a little bit worries about their services as some of our bargain mates complained about what they call "refurbished".
      What is your ow experience?

      • Mine came "as new", no blemishes on it. So far it has been working great. I also bought another laptop and it was exactly the same story. It may be worth noting that these models are all relatively new. So whoever had them previously wouldn't have had them for very long.

I have read stories about people having trouble with the grays warranty, but I can't comment on that.

Thanks - marked it as available again.

  • Price shows as $2,499. I am assuming the deal has expired.

    • Seems so - thanks, expired the deal.

      • Just checked again and now they have dropped it to $2,249.10
Increase of $100 to the original posted price.
Guess have to wait for it again..

        • It's now back down to $2,159.20 if you haven't seen.
